Re: Dota 6.85ne13a

There is now a new map online (ne14) which fixes the clockbug.
https://www.epicwar.com/maps/297538/

Thanks again to the FBG community for investigating that issue with clock and some other bugs.

Re: Dota 6.85ne13a

Thanks, I figured that this seems to be a combined bug by Draco and Blizzard lol. Some of the cogs don't have an icon art assigned. In earlier patches you would see in the multiselection window (console) a white man with a red beard when you multiselected them. Now, in the latest patch the game will...

Re: Dota 6.85ne13a

No, the starfall triggered by Agha doesn't cast a 2nd starfall on a random unit in ne13a. That would be indeed too strong.

Re: ENT shutting down

The end of a glory era .ENT and other hostbots communities did a great job over all these years RIP Let's see if Blizzard will ruin WC3 / custom maps even further. I mean new graphics seem to be nice but if everything is broken who wants to play this sh1t then ? Atm even the single player campagins ...

Dota 6.85ne13a

Sup guys, some weeks ago I uploaded the ne13 version of the 6.85ne series. It introduced 2 new fun things: 1. Mira's Agha which gives a passive Starfall ability every 9 seconds 2. Ironwood branches can now be used to plant a tree for 10 seconds Both changes (more additions I would say) offer a varie...

Re: DotA 6.85ne

Hi there, from what I have seen in Bnet the current version ne12a seems to be pretty stable. I played myself some games without issues. Unfortunately the last remaining (known) horrible (Blizzard) bug with clock is not fixed yet. I played myself 2-3 games with clock and the game didn't crash. If you...

Re: DotA 6.85ne

How is ne12/12a supposed to be unplayable when there are 3-4hrs videos on twitch (fbgdota) of people playing ne12a without any issues? lawl Same for ne10 ... for ne10 your claim is even more ridiculous, this map has been hosted hundreds of times. Literally noone told me yet(Battle.net, Discord, Bliz...

Re: DotA Map Change - v6.85ne Series

I am not an active (playing) part of this community and therefore I am not very concerned wether or not you host 6.85ne12a. Yet I'd like to give you some reasons why you should leave 6.83d: First and foremost there is absolutely noone who maintains, i.e. fixes bugs, 6.83d. There are really horrible ...

Re: DotA 6.85ne

Glad to hear. That clockbug is really annoying. I don't have much time atm ... so if someone wants to test it for me in solo mode here are some commands that you can use: -g x for x gold -d x for x dummies (centaur) -c to gain control over all units on the map -b gives the selected hero a blink abil...

Re: DotA 6.85ne

Sup, so finally I uploaded ne12a which fixes the Fire Breathe bug (Dragon Knight) and one other minor bug (memory leaks). Actually I'd rather release a ne13 but since no more big issues have been reported and since I mostly won't be able to do more stuff the next 4-6 weeks I have no other choice. ht...

Re: DotA 6.85ne

Thanks for the link ;) In case someone cares: I managed to fix 1 of the horrible bugs (In rare cases (5-10%) Dragon Knight's Firebreath didnt deal damage nor the animation was shown but the spell was set on full cooldown and mana was used). If you find any critical bugs in ne12 (e.g. Is clockwerk st...

Re: DotA 6.85ne

Hey once more, I uploaded ne12 now on epicwar.com. This update contains the long anticipated -skin command which lets you change your hero model. The new model for Ember needed to be removed caused of some issues (might be added back in future versions). The old Necro model uses the new animations f...

Re: DotA 6.85ne

Sup, I uploaded a new version (ne11) on epicwar: https://www.epicwar.com/maps/296280/ It deals with Invoker crashing the game (in the latest patches 1.3x) and I added a -share command which also works with brown now. (The F11 method is bugged in all maps since patch 1.29). There are also some other ...

Re: DotA Map Change - v6.85ne Series

Do you have data to counter my claim that it does affect latency? No, this is not how it works. You claimed something and you need to provide evidence otherwise you are just spreading false truths. Btw I also told you already that the models are used on other patches without problems and that the p...

Re: DotA Map Change - v6.85ne Series

100% affect frame rate/ping/attack animations. Do you have reliable data about this? These models are used in other patches aswell without any problems. Especially that they affect the ping (ping is an utility used to determine the connectivy/reachability of a network) is in my point of view nonsen...
