Are you lagging on your Ent copy of warcraft 1.30 or the BNet version 1.31?
Is the lag scroll related?

If its the Bnet version the fix is to right click warcraft. Locate properties and add -graphicsapi direct3d9 in the target field right after warcraft 111 exe.

I think more or less the custom scene will make or break reforged/ent. This doesn't really bold to well for ent if you think about it. Essentially they're just a few flashy patches away from being obsolete. Granted said patches can be buggy and send players looking for alternatives like ent. However...

Do patch switchers even work any more? Since the new updates I can only login via laucher and that auto updates. The oldest one I got on on a usb is .27 patch. Also I'd imagine some would like to try out the patch or accidently login into the upgrade by mistake not knowing it was patch day.

Too bad the other bots didn't get the memo I would of really loved to see the 6-8 game lobbies. Or for people to realize how bad player side lag can really be at times.

Yea I prefer the rock, paper, scicor, spoc (knights,elite,motors,general) 3rd round version over Wizard/Unicorn spam anyday. Only real down side to that version was the 2nd bonus round bandit spam glitch.

Have you tried exiting the game and relaunching? Because sometimes when I have this problem that has been known to fix it.

You join their clan channel and they usually invite you. Some have bots that you simply /w Invite or Join to I believe. Just be sure you're on the same game realm as the clan you wish to join.
