Some maps like Castle Fight ES will make other games not work after playing it. That used to happen to me but now I just restart wc3 a lot and it clears the doodad memory. (I think thats what it is)

I have been playing Beat Down TD v1.0 (3 times just yesterday) and the counter never changes. This has happened with a few other maps also including Lazerus TD v6.0f(final). Both show 0 times hosted.

The game is great! Inspired me deeply. In fact when I made Lazerus TD I sorta modeled it after ZTD. Maze TD with the hero multi-tasking.
