Thoughts: On disabling downloads - No. The community is small and it isn't really growing. Alienating new players is not what we want or need. We don't have a community website to download from like DotA has. We also don't have the legions of dedicated players that are willing to go to a website to...

Further update: At this time, even version 2.33 should not allow -XvX hosting. In the event that any player that isn't red enters the command, the game will desync immediately. Until I can learn this code and solve the issue, it would be better to hold this suggestion in waiting.

Update: Even if the bots enters in the HCL command of 'n', the red player can still utilize the -XvX command. So, that is no longer a worry. Update 2: I updated the HCL library per some comments in another thread and after some testing, it seems to have fixed the issue with red having units with few...

Do we want to consider re-opening development briefly to try and fix the auto mode giving red fewer hit points on all units? I am guessing it has to do with the way the auto mode uses handicap settings to pass in variables.. But I actually don't know and haven't researched much into it. It just seem...

Just a heads-up: When we implemented the code to auto-lock game mode at game start, we did it for normal play in the 3v3 sense. As i recall there was some code in the 2.30 version for an anti hack that had to be disabled due to causing a lot of load on the map and making it unstable. Also, it was found to be completely ineffective.
No idea if Raptor just tried to fix that or if he found something newer / better or not.

This is a known problem with the way certain functions are called and used in the map. Unfortunately, barring a full re-write, this will always be a risk. =/
