i used to play id about 10 years ago and i wanted to reach out to some old friends i had back in the day.

Coming home from school to play some island defense with the boys using /f m (/friends message) was the best. Of the people you mentioned I'm only friends with bloodyguy on steam. I'll pm you his profile, you can browse through his friendslist for more familiar names. Unfortunately I doubt anyone checks these forums anymore.

Island defense is still being played but all discussion around it seems to be in this discord group, however nobody from the old era is active in there if that's what you're after.

I'm glad people still think about this game, definitely one of the games in wc3 that deserved its own standalone game.
