1.29 issues? Low FPS randomly

Hi, high end PC here.

During War3, I get random FPS drops down to like 1 per 3 seconds for 20 seconds or so.

I assume it's me being on the verge of losing sync or about to drop out but skimming along.. possibly a bandwidth thing with MMH given 1.29?
(My usual stable ping is 120-200ms due to distance, which I've always had, but never had this present stuttering issue)

Or is it something with the game client?

If anyone's having the same kind of symptom can you post here anything you've found?

When you get fps issues such as stuttering, it's best to check your hardware before software, doesn't matter if it's high-end or not.

Could also be a number of things, like the map and how many units are present at a given time, or having too many other programs running in the background and draining resources.

What map(s) have you been playing during this stutter issue?

Do also note the above - While you may have a "high-end" PC, it's best to check all possibilities from your end. Afaik the only "stuttering" issue that was related to a map was HELLHALT and it's been temporarily removed due to excessive bugs.

Ah thanks Unitil.

I did more testing, it was the lag as far as I can tell.

I think the player decided to !latency 50 or something ridiculous and when things became strenuous I was really feeling it.

Again this only happened on MMH, ENT is fine always.
