New to ENT, questions about ENT Link

Postby Miracle » Wed Jan 02, 2013 3:03 am

First and foremost, Happy new year to all~
as the topic stated, I am new to ENT and is experiment/experiencing the options that it offers...
I linked my USeast account to this forum account, and validated it already, all's good
I am able to use ENT Connect and join game via LAN, that's great
since I play Dota game that was hosted by ENT bots(before creating the forum account), I hold a record for my USeast account that I am comfortable with, but now that I realize I don't ever have to logon to BNet/USeast for game anymore due to the ability to join game via ENT Connect and LAN, I do that most the time instead...
which makes me wonder if there's any ways to 'transfer' or maybe even link my forum account's stats to my USeast account, such that by using !sd it would show the combined stats of the two account, and not just the individual ones

Also, I've notice that from the 'Games' tab it would show a bunch of games that is hosted by the ENT Bots, and under the 'Connect' tab I assume that the user can either connect/filter using Ghost-Client or ENT Connect(as the link suggest)...but I've tried it and it isn't working for me(probably due to not knowing how it works)

Last of all, by using ENT Connect, my LAN game-lists shows a bunch of game hosted by the bots, but not all of them...which is frustrating because the game that I want to join rarely appears in my LAN game list, even thou it is showing from the 'Games' tab from the forum site...
is there any ways to filter/isolate the (only)game that I want to join, in my case Dota game only?

Helps are appreciated, thank you in advance

Stats transfer: post in Complaints with your username and realm.

ENT Connect: when you click the button, it should open a new tab. On that new tab, if you have Java (version >= 5.0) installed, then you'll see a square and also should see games in Warcraft III Local Area Network.

Ghost Client: the ghost client link only works if you installed the GC client from http://ghostclient.com (games and then Launch Client; you need to register an account there though).

The LAN list only holds 20 games, so you won't be able to see all of them. You can filter with the links on gamelist, or wait until your desired game shows up.

will the stats be transferred mutually? or just one way?

got that working already, games are showing up in LAN when the 'square' turns green, a-okay with it
Ghost Client: the ghost client link only works if you installed the GC client from http://ghostclient.com (games and then Launch Client; you need to register an account there though).

doubt I'll be using it...

THIS is relevant to what I want to know more about...as you have mentioned, the LAN list only holds 20 and there's no in-game filter option...so how can I actually filter using the link on gamelist?
If you reached this page from the gamelist, then the game that you selected should be the first game that comes up in the Local Area Network screen.

I've tried that multiple time but the game that I wanted to join still wouldn't show up as the first game in the LAN list...and I doubt the order make much difference(start wc3, click link/wait 'til green, get in LAN, first game shows up as the desired target; or start wc3, get in LAN, click link/wait 'til green, join first game; etc)

again, help would be appreciated

Stats transfer is one way. ENT Connect should be working now (some of the games were not showing up in the ENT Connect list).
