does anyone know any kind of recording that supports WC3?

Recording or streaming? Twitch and Hitbox (?) for streaming.

A quick google should help you or you can contact ENT players who already stream (see wiki streamers page).

just to record. i'd really rather not go through that hassle again and just prove my innocence with a simple file link since WC3 ingame recording cant do much... assuming recording makes a difference

If you want transparency, go with twitch. They auto-archive them for you and you dont have to talk. Records themselves which haven't been uploaded (not possible to alter via twitch), are not much worth anyway as they can't be analyzed (the content/source).

Those sites don't actually record anything you just upload the recording to them.

Open broadcasting software is really what you're looking for. It can do it just to a file also.
