According to hive, they've been in contact with the wc3 devs and they're planning to release a v1.28 patch that replaces the old BlizzUpdater that's like from 1990s that's currently preventing them from adding neat features.

Blizzard has said multiple times that they won't be making WC themed RTS game.

Anyone ever play the Starcraft 1 custom map V-tec Paintball? I've always wanted to play V-tec again it had a very PvP dota feel.

"At first glance, the rules are fairly simple. In a 1v1 game be the first team to reach 25 kills, in a 2v2 game be the first team to reach 50 kills, ect.. Return the flag and get another unit to use to help kill your opponents."
