bnet is better? you are totally delusional. When I tried it, I went in with an open mind. Every single game had leavers. Matches were over pretty much as soon as one team had a slight advantage - one player would leave, then a wave of leavers would immediately follow. The map version they use blows, too. Then let's not even mention how there's no real ban system. Not even stats being recorded! All the games are meaningless.

There are like what? 20-30 active players on here? Every game, you are guaranteed to get 6-8 players of the same IQ and qualities of Master_Pain, Jackk, Panic_Revenge, Tomex, etc., So I'm curious as to how beating or playing with these players in a game are meaningful.

It's just a braindead match every game. If you enjoy spending an hour of your time to sit in a lobby to play a 30 minute game getting lectured by a 65 year old Master_Pain on how to play the game or having Jackk use Lina's ultimate to KS a 100 hp enemy, you're just wasting brain cells. At this rate, you have to be REALLY bored or don't have any other real hobbies to consider playing this game. There's just no other logical reason to play it considering the player pool remaining.

Oh, I totally agree. Even with stats its meaningless. But it at least it adds a little bit of a competitive element and sense of progress. Without stats and all those other things, it somehow feels worse than meaningless.

Any-how, I have been super busy doing irl stuff, so I no longer play at all for the past 5 weeks and counting. Hence why I'm here writing posts, dicking around. It probably is a straight up addiction as to why people would continue to play, since yeah, a lot of remaining people totally suck (though not all).

BTW you were/are a crazy good player, probably the best one on the server. Have no idea how you had got so good. You should do something with that raw talent in stocks or something.

The time for DotA 1 has passed. It had a good run and now it's dead.

Reforged is better than ENT in a lot of ways but there are clearly issues that happen with no stats and no banning. And honestly the map is even more unbalanced now than it ever was.

I like knowing what to expect.
If I have a team that knows how to gank, I'll buy wards and smoke.
If I have a bunch of retards, I won't bother. I'll just pick a hero that doesn't need a team and do what I can.

On bnet you have no idea what to expect.

Or will he have rad and basic boots at 30 minutes?
Here I know which one it'll be.
On bnet there's a risk that you pick a support but have no one to support, and it's just a slow inevitable loss while you sit at towers unable to do anything.
