Algorithm for A-Bal games

Postby dotamamba » Thu Apr 18, 2013 7:47 pm

I'm curious if there could be some way of balancing the game not just with ELO but also incorporating number of games played and KDR into the balancing algorithm?

Another thought is removing the ELO gained from non A-BAL games when calculating slots?

Any thoughts on this or do you guys think A-Balance is just fine?

i simply dont play a-bal due to lack of good players on it. right now i do believe its only the average elo. it tries to make it as close as possible. as for changing it. well i think elo system should be changed anyways but im not clever enough to write my own algorithm for it so i just accept it the way it is lol.

It should be based on just ELO, using other factors is dumb.

A-Bal is far from balanced. I have no alternative solutions, so I'm not going to complain about it until I do have one.
