Do you respect players that -random in Apen A-Bal games?

True, I have like 10-12 hero I really fuck up with. That's a lot for some, but regarding much hero there is, it's little part. I try to practice on them, but I always ask a swap or even, I told them I'm not that good. If they say, np we got this. I will ok, and do my role as best I can.

Like thomas said, this is unpleasant experience for both person, me and mate if we don't talk XD

but seriously though, if a high elo player randoms and maybe gets that one hero he isnt very comfortable with, it really throws off his allies.
like "oh that 1800 elo player got a random TA, awesome. i'll get maybe a CM to support him since he can use the disables and mana regen."
than 10 minutes in, you realize he doesnt know how to use TA fully and ur stuck with a support that cant carry.
and your thinking "damn i wish i picked a carry and i wished this 1800 elo guy that i expected to carry didnt random the one hero he didnt know how to play".
its like an opposite smurf on your team. (a high elo player that doesnt know how to play)

What you are describing never happens in my experience.

In every game there is a 1500 ELO skill level smurf with 900-1100 ELO that ruins the balance of the game. I do appreciate how ENT has put a game minimum on joining APEM A-BAL though. It has slightly mitigated this problem.

I have played A-Bal APEM -random to well over 1700 ELO and I really dont have a "weak" hero so I'm not quite sure what you mean. Anybody at that skill level should not really have a weak hero.

The key here is that when you are playing with noobs not all heroes are created equal as I stated earlier. Some heroes require more teamwork then others.

And in response to counter picking in the previous posts. Its so hard to gauge peoples skill level so you dont know what allies you can work with or which enemies you need to counter. There are those picks that just working vs all pubs. (naix, pl trax)

Point is counter picking is worthless in most pubs. Its all about counter items ect as the game unfolds...

I random all the time, unless I am against two or three 1700+ elo players (since I am around 1750)

I simply random for well.... random heros.
Its more fun and challenging to random pick.
and i dont respect players that -random
but i respect players that play as team. thats about it. hmmm
