Deleting threads?

Postby mystical_ice » Sun Sep 06, 2015 2:33 pm

Can someone please tell me why my thread from last night was deleted?

It was a legitimate, and MAJOR bug with the new map that caused our team to lose. At least give me the decency of responding to it, instead of just deleting it.

@mystical_ice

I deleted it. That bug has been mentioned before. I will not elaborate on it.

You have a choice what to play: play 6.83 if you dont like 6.84.

No, we don't have a choice. Both maps are new, and both maps reflect changes, that much is obvious.

So instead of rolling out a new map and keeping a bot hosting the old, you're rolling out two new maps. Right?

6.83 we've hosted it before. So, it is not new. (maybe we hosted 6.83b, not 6.83d. Cant recall)

6.83d has been hosted on other dota bots for many months. The problem which you are concerned about only involves a trigger bug on 6.84.

So the only changes to 6.83d are balance changes (and minor map changes - roshan location, etc)

Who created it? Icefrog or this dotalich guy?

Fair enough. I just played a 6.83 and it's not a bad map. Don't like some of the map changes, but i remember when v6 was first released many years ago i had trouble getting used to it then too. Seems like LC is still too powerful, but oh well :)

Thanks

LC had a glitch with his passive on 6.81. This got fixed on 6.83, so he should not be op anymore.
