Who do you guys think is the most underused hero and why? I get that pubs will be pubs, but I would honestly like to see people playing more difficult heroes instead of the simple right click heroes. I'm so tired of people playing bara, drow, etc.. What happened to Meepo, SF, Visage, and Arc Warden?? You know, those heroes that require skill to play, but become so OP once you know what you are doing.

Pit Lord has to be the no1 on that list with Chen following. I don't see Skeleton King either while he is one of the strongest mid-late game heroes. Troll Warlord is also on that list, despite being a super carry too. I think people find it hard to farm with them and tend to feed. Last, but not least, Medusa or Dazzle are not popular in pubs.

People fail to see how OP these heroes are... undying is another one, SO good, but SO underused.

Basically any hero that require team play to be successful would fit "Underused" the title. Simply enough you cant guarantee any team coordination in pubs.

In my opinion AA is the best example of this...

I agree, but AA can also be very effective for solo kills. I've seen him a fair amount in pubs, pretty decent actually.

I just think "chilling touch" is a such an OP ability if the team is working together.

Kill roshan in 15 seconds with at level 7 with everyone grouped

i think that chen is the most underused and also kotl. i see them only in ar modes. also i think the #1 most underused hero in pub games in ap modes is medusa. imo the best hero in the game. some say that it costs too much to get her tankier and you have to buy all your damage. which is true. but with a little farm skillz you can easily achieve your desired goal of ownage with her lol.

Holy Knight is probably the most under powered hero in the game. Period.

Keeper of the Light is probably the best support hero anyone could ask for. Omni is arguably better, though. Depends solely on play style.

Techies, if you don't know how to use him. I went 21W 0L with Techies, but it takes playing him an awful lot for him to be useful. All about mine placement locations.

Skeleton King is boss, idk how he made this list. (I never play him, but I've seen him dominate some games)

techie on scourge is OP. for reasons i wont disclose on a forum.

chen is powerful what are you talkin about lol. you can have an army of awesome creeps and then you can just get dagon + mech imo. keep your creeps alive and you can dagon for massive damage with his one ability. i forgot the name atm.

i love kotl i think your right hes best support hero. he can get awesome item support on account that he can farm so easily and with no worries about mana consumption.

Under-used : Techies /Chen/CM > Not much seen in 'pick' game. Like (SD / AP / RD) mode.

In Ar or -random, some try to play them (most of the time, goes to a fail)

w.e, like said in OP post, hero that need 'micro' skill is abused, but under-used and most of the time, wrongly played.

Most of the heroes I listed require intense micro skills or very good last hitting to be successful.. which means they are underplayed because people dont have those skills.

With techies, most users tend to get suicide and mine at obvious spots, proving to change a game from 5v5 to 5v4.

razor almost never gets picked. people dont know they should be building tanky and/or mobility items to maximize link/static storm.
fun hero but he will never be top tier.

I ve seen some very op storms, bloodstone than go dps builds and even tank up with sheep. However as normal when fighting a group its hard for storm to come out unscathed. Since at least one person will manage a stun/disable on him.

Actually in competitive games, storm is played as a carry with orchid, hex and bkb. I have watched games in high league where storm destroys easily weaver, dk and other beast carries. The mobility of this hero is legendary, making him one of my top5.
