I see a lot of these people (Smurfing for other players) that have 600- Elo. I dont think its fair to have such a low elo and have people smurfing for higher elo players so they dont lose as much elo when they get stomped. People with that low ass elo shouldnt be allowed and should be reset to 1k or have there stats reset. Ive seen a player with 450 Elo. Thank you just a dota suggestion.

i'll just note that there is a lot of flaws with the elo system but as far as i can tell. there is none thats better. or atleast good enough to make @uakf.b want to change it.
however i would support a minimum elo before a reset.

If a player is genuinely a 600 elo players then there's nothing wrong with that. If a player is smurfing and 600 elo then he must be game ruining to achieve such an ELO. Game ruining is bannable.

idk, i think that even if someone is genuinely a 600 player it should reset to 1000. im sure they wont mind lol.

Then it will mess up the ELO system more, because there's a 1000 elo player playing at a 600 elo level.

@edgeofchaos yes but what would be the difference if he just made a new account? which imo would be a very short coming outcome since he'll prob be tired of being harassed about being so nab.

If someone wants to keep playing on a 600 elo account, just let them. If they want a new acc with 1000 elo, they could create one, or request a stat reset. I see no need to force them to reset stats.

that is true you can ask for stat reset. good point. so then yeah i would agree then to leave it be.
just a side note tho. how many of these low elo players actually know you can ask for a stat reset?

Whats wrong with being low elo? I'd rather have an accurate elo than a misleading elo.

i got a friend whos a TOTAL RETARD, he got like 550 elo, but hes not ruining i see no reason to reset his elo

Just change to TSR like Dota Cash, it is WAY more accurate than elo.

Im talking about people that smurf for higher elo players so they dont lose as much elo when they get pwned there are good players out there with insanly low elos on a smurf account to help other people get elo

Transfer stats in what regard? Transfer to a TSR system? Or you mean transfer between two of your accounts?
