This is not entirely true, all one needs to do to get to 1500 or above is stack hard. And there are plenty of people above 1500 that do just that.

But how does one spot a stacker you ask?

One of the best examples of this is midnightsun. At first glance, it lookes like good stats, 2 kdr and 1500 elo. Subtract losses from wins and divide by elos gained. Comes out to a meager 3 elos per game.

Vipassana: to see things as they really are. This meditation was rediscovered by Buddha more than 2500 years ago and was taught by him as a universal remedy for universal ills. This technique aims for the total eradication of mental impurities and the resultant highest happiness of full liberation

That's fine math, but a 2:1 k/d is a good player nonetheless

I've played with midnightsun - he is a flamer, but he doesn't stack. The only true stacker I know on ENT is Wrecktify who plays with his team of smurfs (who probably play at 1500-2000 elo skill) every game.

That was of determine "stacking" is not valid. Even doing it with NOT2000ELO (divinerape) gives 3.8 elo. Try using this method when someone has equal losses and wins, or more losses than wins and you'll see you get a nonsense result.

Spoiler!
You claim the formula is

ELO per game = (ELO-1000)/(wins - losses)

For Midnightsun:
283 wins 111 losses, 1526 elo
=526/(281-111)
=3.09 elo per game

Now:
Ok, I have 50 wins and 50 losses, with 1100 ELO.
= 100/(50-50)
=100/0
So my elo per game approaches infinity

Use more losses than wins and you'll get negative ELO/game, if you have over 1000 ELO (obviously not right)

This is the real formula: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=100304
