0106c Changelog:
  • It's honestly been so long, tooltips got fixed I think?
Please test this version out to check whether or not it works with 1.28. Optimizing got messed up so I had to use a workaround, so the map file will be slightly larger than before...

  • Fixed Titans not having their innate abilities.
  • Fixed Satyr's Speed Poke upgrade not giving any gold or lumber on "hit".

0106a Changelog:
  • Removed Pseudologos from the random Titan pool.
  • Fixed cooldown on Moon Crystal.
  • Fixed Wand of the Wind tooltip not correctly displaying the item's cooldown.
  • Fixed a bug with FROFF calculations.
  • Added Polar Fury to the Magnataur. A weaker form of Polar Wrath that the Magnataur starts with, granting 150 bonus HP and an extra 5 armour for 12 seconds. Polar Wrath overwrites this ability once learned.
  • Changed how Morphling's morphing works.
    • Choosing the learn to upgrade to Beast form will now replace Warrior form. Beast form as a result now has the Warrior form's spell book and all associated abilities in the book and upgrades apply to the Beast as well.
    • The Morphling Builder form also now has the same spell book.
    • Moved Anti-magic Shell to the spell book.
    • Added Panic to the Morphling Builder.

  • A lot of the tooltips in the map have been updated thanks to Remixer!
  • Reduced all Fortified armour on Builders to Large.
  • Reduced Satyr’s Hero armour with Medium armour.
  • Toxic Tower in item form now shoots one stronger projectile rather than two weaker ones.
  • Reverted reduction in worker experience.
  • Boosted Chimaera Scout’s sight range to 450.
  • Reduced Tauren’s Maul effectiveness.

Armour Reduction Justification:
HP is a lot easier and clearer to balance around than armour. The amount of bonus HP you can gain from researches and items will be revised.
Satyr's Hero armour is too effective early to mid game.

Yes, I think the reason was that the info said something else than it really was so I think we made a compromise. Also, I think that if a unit has a vision, it should be large enough to be functional.

Reduced Satyr’s Hero armour with Medium armour.

I think this will be a huge improvement with balance, the reduced spell damage from hero armour was just too strong, but I think heavy (large) armour might be better suited.

Reduced all Fortified armour on Builders to Large.

My experience with the shift of mags armour from fort to heavy has been largely negative. I feel that in order for the armour type to switch there must be buffs coming in the same version. A mag is now a free kill mid, wotw pearl and no escape. (The only chance a mag has to survive wotw mid now is either a det on the wotw, which in lower skill games just won't happen, or mass support from other builders.)

I fear a morphling will become an even easier target than a magnataur if changed to heavy armour without receiving buffs along side the nerf.

Reduced Tauren’s Maul effectiveness.

Slightly off topic: as far as tauren nerfs go I think the towers should be changed from fort armour, the titan can not push into a tauren base and nuke/attack the builders inside like they can with any other type of base. Once the walls are broken at a tauren base, then the titan has even more buildings to seige through that basically amount to more walls that also attack.

The changelog seems to be minor, but in truth it is actually pretty significant (in my opinion), and overall it looks like some really solid changes.

I'm planning on reviewing Morph's / Magnataur's escapes, as well as their HP upgrades in response to their armour nerf.

Looking to investigate solutions to Magnataur and Morphling's squishiness tonight.

I think it would be best to resolve the issues surrounding them before the map goes live, as it seems like getting maps updated will be slow on ENT's side at the moment. I really don't want several weeks of them being a chore to play early game.
