0082 has been released, check it out whenever you have time!

Notable Changes:
  • I've changed how the map is optimized, since the old tools I was using have started corrupting the map rather than making it load fast. Most things should be the same, including the blazing fast load times, but some things may have changed a little. Keep an eye out for missing tooltips or malformed messages (like random garbage text or something).
  • Another change is that I've disabled -swap/-defender for now, since upgrades don't play nice. Unfortunately they may not make a return unless I overhaul the upgrades system into a different format.
  • As long as you are in Debug mode, you may now use "-ftest" (for resources) and "-frestart" (restarts the game). Note that there are issues with restarting the game, hence why it isn't usually enabled. Issues are like: error messages on the screen while restarting. Upgrades from last time still being learnt. Etc. I recommend not using the command, but in some cases it may be useful.

  • DAMAGE TYPES! For healing, currently only 75% of healing gets through since hero armor on lucid. (added 133% factor to counteract hero armor spell reduction)
  • Not sure if just Demo nad nat but while picking phase it says They both got the Strongest titan Hunter ingame
  • Nature Pick text. "Excellent walls late game" and Magna walls are average. kinda wrong also
  • Added punctuation to demonologist's Advanced Summoning Techniques (level 1)
  • made the description for demonologist's Demon Mastery more concise.
  • Nature ARC has movement stuff
  • Gauntlets of Rage movespeed buff isn't 20% (made it +80ms, added +25 attack damage)
  • Trident of Power in the ingame Guide has malformed color code
  • color code broken on "Type -titan to become the new Titan." message.
  • purchase greater summoning stone in merchant is written in gold.
  • websites in top-right desc, entgaming.net is missing a "t"
  • -swap off then -swap to complete a swap works (this should happen imo)
  • swapping grants the ability to have two hunters (upgrades don't carry over).
  • hypothermia ability gives 15 instead of 16 armor (gives 15 now).
  • cloak of shadows doesn't give mana regeneration (it does 150% of you current)
  • ice palace doesn't slow (uh, it's not supposed to? Crit as item, armor boost as tower)
  • goblin lumber upgrade requires a keep (fixed)
  • goblin can build towers without needing any other structures (fixed)
  • teleporter (egg tp staff) has a very short cast time. (intended)
  • selling egg items gives no resources. (can't sell now)
  • tauren Earthshock only works for buildings not titan/minions (added valid targets)
  • heavy cannon tower item states 10 +damage but when holding it gives 20 + damage (made tooltip correctly say +20)
  • deep freeze item gives out poison instead of frost (added stacking buff as well)
    //check replay where they couldn't pick builders (entgaming.net/forum/download/file.php?id=11538 - looks like a glitch occured where the titan was set to pick... will have to keep an eye out for other occurances)
  • lucidious minions can't nuke neutral. (added nuke trigger)
  • bounce nukes don't show effect when unit is killed (added forceEffect=true)
  • messages on screen last too long (60 -> 15)
  • radioactive's atomic split says it lasts for 0 seconds. (made it 15s)
  • should be able do use -exp/-froff/-gc instead of "-vote yes" now to vote for modes.
  • titan still not paused while the game is in its paused state. (maybe fixed?)
  • draenei pools give 3g. (reverted to 2g)
  • draenei battle constructs can't reclaim (should be fixed, changed to undead type)
  • Nature speaks like tauren (intended but eh... Furion?)
  • Nature crits when attacking from ww. (lol)
  • repair hotkey is "R" but is said to be "S".
  • disable forcing fake players (they now need to be defined as computer players)
  • fake players no longer count towards votes
  • votes are now rounded properly, so if 3 defender players are left 2 are required to vote instead of one
  • Dran towers description are all wrong.
  • mana pools lumber cost increased to 20 (from 5)
  • made tauren not get levels from minion kills (might change?)
  • redid how race pick votes work. Now majority vote with titan's approval is chosen
  • increased tauren's ward casting distance to 500 (was 200)
  • made helm of the dominator increase MS by 80 (was 10... 80 is same as webbed)
  • reduced cost of Cloak of Shadows to 1 titan egg, 1 eye of the ocean
  • removed delay while using Radioactives isotopic shield
  • changed icon of Regen potion
  • changed icon on seaweed aura (Makrura)
  • changed icon on Bloom aura (Dryad)
  • fixed Makrura's seaweed aura saying it had a range of 425 (actually is 350)
  • added hotkeys (and tooltips) for recipes in the titan egg item builder shops.
  • added visual effect to eye of the ocean
  • made items sold from the builder shop only cost lumber
  • added hotkeys to builder consumable shop
  • made drops from titan kills the titan version by default
  • made defenders "allied" with neutral passive
  • made the builder shop only sell to allies.
  • fixed trolls enhanced tower tooltip (said it did 50 damage, was reduced to 40. Thanks dINO)
  • fixed Dryad's Infusion saying it costs 30 mana (really costs 25. Thanks dINO)
  • reduced all minions base movespeed to 390 (was 395)
  • increased demonicus's minions maximum movespeed to 522 (was 395)
  • moved harvester survival upgrades to shelters (and fixed all the broken ones...)
  • reduced pirate hunters cost to 400 (from 700)
  • increased natures hunters cost to 800 (from 500)
  • made the Manual of Retraining automatically be used when purchased
  • made the start delay on buying a Chimaera Scout 2 minutes, and increased the refresh time to 1 minute.
  • changed the Force Trident and Titanic Trident recipes to say what stats the item provides (Thanks dINO)
  • removed Bundle of Lumber items from all Research Centres.
  • added "Exchange Gold for Lumber" to Shelters, providing 700 wood for 5g (10 second research time, cancellable, unlimited uses)
  • readded the Mound's ability to use items (namely paged shops)
  • added two extra levels to Radioactive's Hunter HP upgrades
  • made Arcane Gem require 10 gold to learn
  • fixed Gnolls ultimate tower hotkey clashes
  • fixed Makrura's Whirlpool hotkey
  • Dryad's Island Bloom now has the correct hotkey (Q)
  • removed old Balth debug messages
  • fixed the Sacrifice tooltip
  • added "lb" as a valid color option for triggers requiring a player
  • Disabled Tower Range Checking
  • fixed goblins tower being in the wrong place
  • fixed titan animations
  • increased rain duration
  • added periodic tips (not fully implemented yet)
  • using a new optimizer for the map (Widgetizer was eating values)
To Do:
  • RESEARCH HOTKEYS (for ARC)
Unfixable:
  • rad suicide glitch (tis how cargo's work. No solution found for now).
  • making adv for mak causes builder to be lost. (could not reproduce)
  • gob towers no animation (could not reproduce)
  • dran hunter missing. (could not reproduce)
  • radio while invul using tp removes invul. (eh, added warning to ability)

Later / Ideas for 0083:
  • lucid model (caused by modifying the model to get a better hitbox, not too important).
  • guide needs update
  • make PlayerData.forceAlliances() only do the necessary alliance changes
  • not a lot of people like radio's tower modules being slow to set up. (I like the nerf)
  • add ability to upgrade radon towers inventory slots to 2 to mix and match effects
  • Custom Upgrades System.
    • swapping doesn't swap upgrades (swapping disabled)
    • swapping stops current orders (swapping disabled)
    • swapping upgrades lose their progress (swapping disabled)
    • fix upgrades with -swap/-defender/-restart (overhaul)
  • update Lucid/Syph/Molt item descriptions
  • perk system
  • chicken music
  • chase music
  • settings tweak
  • lever secret
  • APM calculation for titans

Just for reference, experience gained from killing titans/minions is based on a factor of the amount of experience they have (and also the hunter's distance from them). So if you get different experience values, that's supposed to happen.

All titan hunter had 0 ep but still diff melee hunters had diff values of EP

I'm meaning from the experience level of the titan / minion.

(0.5 * (Titan Experience)) * Distance Factor = Hunter Experience Gain
(0.3 * (Minion Experience)) * Distance Factor = Hunter Experience Gain

So I've been delving through the depths of the optimized files and I've figured out the cause of a few problems.

Cut-off Tooltips - During optimization, some sequences of quotes and commas cuts tooltip strings off before they're actually finished. Please say if you find a tooltip that seems like it ends too quickly (such as ZimmeR did on the page before).

Missing Requirements - During optimization, sometimes requirements are parsed out of order and are therefore skipped by Warcraft 3 while parsing the map. I've disabled optimization of upgrades for future releases, so this shouldn't be an issue anymore. Do not post these for 0082, they're not really a bug considering it's simply an optimization error.

These were the only two problems I could find, and my new optimization setup shouldn't cause more issues. Just wanted to give you guys an update, thanks!
