So, just had an incident where someone took 5+ minutes to download the dota map. Everyone left.
DotA use to be an anti-dler lobby with it's own separate bot to download it. I'd like if that was brought back to prevent this. The situation has been quite frequent but never this bad.

We already lack CD keys for bots that would be used a lot more then such a download bot.
Not a good idea to start one if we cant warrant it stays online imo. Would be more to take care of and if it goes down one day the cfg for downloading would have to be changed again until its fixed (or only people with the ma could play) which is extra work again too.

I too have seen extremely long download times by people...
How about showing a ban screen that has a link where they can dl the map? Though keeping the link short if it's on ent so its easy to type.
