IMO, if you are a referee, Never mention anything about sending lvls, what units anyone has, or anything else that can affect the game or gives any information, even if for example every player in game can see that lod held lvl 1 leaks from 3 players leaking, someone can miss it, so a simple msg sayin "nice lod" or something similiar to that could give info to a played who missed to see it themselves... this is kind of extreme, but thats enough to give info in certain cases...

I agree with you Krayziee, but as far as I can see the conversation in this game went like this:

I paraphrase now and write out the implicit to make you see how I read it:
F: Everybody saw that send coming.
E: But some people might have thought they would have sent demons 16?
E: (couple of seconds later) or 20?

That the east team decided to send 16 could not in any way be deduced from his statement - in fact, no information could be deduced from it - except that Eldryan thought that some people would have thought the enemy would send 16 or 20.

Above all, the other had already decided to go level 16, so this shows his comment had nothing to do with their send.

In my opinion, it was just a misunderstanding, and I think it is good measures are taken for in the future. But based on the accusation there is no ground to say Eldryan violated any rules (if he did say something else in another place I will happily retract those words)

So if I'm observing and I suggest to send on level 6 can I get unvouched?

yes, BA_Fail I guess so....because in every game i've EVER had an obs in , and the obs said anything (every native english speaker), som1 has said something like this. I have got to say half of LIHL would be unvouched if they actually did this.

as is already said, I WAS NOT GIVING ADVICE. the only in jest "advice" I gave was "send lvl 15" one. also, realfurbolg said "everyone knew this was coming", so when I respond, i was saying "mb 16 mb 20" is pretty obvious

edit: @iightfyre
observer also isn't a privilege, wtf? everyone can obs, even unvouched players. not a privilege...it gives you nothing except watching game...

@mickeythemouse the issue is it can be DEDUCED from the statement.

the statement OBVIOUSLY isn't "mb send16", it's after furbolg said "everyone knew 13" ..."mb 16 ", "or mb 20".... even tho isn't direct, is DEDUCED. I wasn't EVEN IN JEST saying "send 16" lol.

I only said this after arena, when all players already commented on it.

Hmm, Obersver = ricky. Says in all that I should be unvouched because of my build alone. Other team knew my units since it was after 10... Ricky says I make a pretty box. Other team could of easily used this information to determine my building style to be weaker on another level than what they had currently planned. Ofc this is unlikely. But I don't see why 1 person can speak of how some1 is building in "all" chat as an observer and not be banned, since all eld did was say what he would do in all chat. And it seems he is saying it to no team impaticular.

But yeah, ive seen observers say things like this. If its after 10, they just thinking outloud. Not giving away any information that 1 team doesn't already know about the other team.

Cuase how he worded it. Could of been warning the team that leaked on 13. Just as easy as telling the team that didn't leak how to send. Regardless, Both teams, would of already been aware of when the next send would come/when they would send. 13-16 is not a big enough save to do any real damage... so ofc the next send would be on 20.

This team of course did not save 20, they risked 16, which I would say was ill advised. Im curious as to the outcome of this game tho.

What game was this? Were mods made aware of the situation? You will have to refresh my memory on this one.

Secondly, Eldryan did not get banned for the game in question in this thread; he was given a verbal warning tho about observer etiquette.

Abuse of the observer privilege can result in banning. It will be handled on a case by case basis.

Sorry if there was any confusion in my previous post.

Cheers

Ah, I was thinking he was banned for it. My bad. I was only saying what ricky did in sequence to if eld had gotten banned for this incident. I didn't report it cause its just observers talking outloud imo, and Im 99% sure that it had no effect on the outcome of the game. since they woulda slaughtered us on 17 regardless of how I built.
