I made this suggestion in the 3.97c thread before I knew there was a suggestion area:

Some of the units seemed to be bugged when it comes to recognizing there are more enemies. It makes crossing pretty much impossible when units run away even when there are plenty of enemies still in range. Maybe you did that to discourage crossing; but if not, it would help if you made the "awareness" range a little bigger. Death Dragons are especially troublesome.

Also, when command attack is used, some units (like death dragons) will continue on to the gate they were told to go even after all the units are dead, and they will never turn around or teleport.

So the problem is twofold, they either turn around when there are clearly units in range for them to stay and attack, or they stay at the opposite gate after command attack is used, even after all the enemies are dead.

Hopefully its improved adequately on 3.98 soon to be released.
