Ok we understand your kid woke up but why are you playing dota when you have a kid to take care of? Just leave the game it's like a 1 hour ban. You staying in the game and just avoiding afk kick ruins the game for everyone. I remember the same thing happen in my game but i never submitted that

anyways, if ur going to afk, just leave and take the leaver ban or sometimes after letting teammates know, give them unit control.

Can confirm. Player solo dove 11 times fed saying he was "tired" under acc "Realkunkka" and hes 800 elo. Pretty sure he was throwing on purpose

Family is always a priority, however, it is always best to seek an appeal by leaving instead of wasting everyones time in-game by avoiding an AFK kick in-game. There are mechanics that help your team mates out when there is an imbalance of the teams.

• Gold of the disconnected player is split to the teammates
• Players can use any items the hero may have accrued during his tenure in-game (means they can sell or keep)
• Useage of the disconnected players hero is available should someone wish to use it.

There may be additional mechancis, but overall don't play DotA, so don't know the extent of the balancing mechancis.
