Hey everyone!

We're finally seeming to get to the stage where there are no more major bugs, and all the major map systems appear to be working as intended. It's time to start readding content and polishing up what we have.

I wanted to make this thread to provide and opportunity for discussion around features that you've always wanted in Island Defense. If you're lucky, the might just make it into the game.

Special Mention: Due to the technicalities of Blizzard's game engine, the -builder command will never be completely implementable. This is simply an unfortunate occurrence and there's no way around it (believe me, I've tried). Please refrain from talking about it here, since there's no chance of it making a comeback.

My Suggestions:
  • An ability in the Gold Mound that costs lumber that air-drops the mounds inventory to the specified location on the map.

i feel like this would be either too overpowered, or wouldn't work, seeing how you can already use another wand by the time the first one is over... the unlimited part would be op, the use of it would screw it up i believe

Double titan mode! But the second titan is dampened version of the main titan. Also the main titan gets to pick the second titan.

Maybe make satyr a vote just to unlock then after the voting he'll turn into first to click (or spam hotkey.)

Also Natures advance research center is kind of useless if your basing or its late game with no chance of your army killing any minions or the titan. Maybe make him like panda with his advance research center and move the army research from the research center to his arc and remove gold cost while upgrading the lumber cost.

Ages ago red had to type -sat <color> for that player to pick sat. Imo it didn't work for same reasons your idea won't work.

I remember that time withered but i fail to see how it my idea is remotely close to that since it would be a vote much like a game mode then anyone can have him (limited to 1 person) once he is activated.

Regarding Neco's suggestion,
A courier would be better in terms of lore etc. in my opinion. Though a air strike with items would be legit to mess up a cocky wall walker

I still think satyr or modified nature should be a titan.

definitely want -swap mode to come back. Everybody who is a builder after ~1h wins, whenever titan gets a kill they switch with the builder.

Give turtle the ability to teleport which will cost gold.

Hunters cannot fire by themselves, they will need a worker to fire. Similar to morph towers.

Mound can get mana upgrades but it will cost a lot of lumber (similar to aura). So in early game titan cannot use it with wand. Also, magic coral shouldnt have an effect on it.

A countdown against stalling time. or a voting system reminding titan he is wasting time and he will have to stop stalling in order to siege for onces. This will be trigger by builders and minions using a command like -froff.

Faerie can evolve to charizard, so he could be a type of "avatar".

Chickens can carry bombs to lower walls health. "kamikaze chickens".

Workers can defend themselves against minions summon, with an upgrade that requires advance research center. Cost lumber.

I like tedro's suggestion of kamikazee turtle, but with the egg i don't see this being an easy addition... maybe give them a spell that uses all their mana, and it is only for golden chickens??

yeah... haha got the two mixed up... but kamikazee golden chickens for titan, maybe kamikazee upgraded for turtle, where it recharges and every time that you use the turtle, it injures EVERYTHING around it, by like 500 hp? Turtle would have to be slowed, but then it would then be a risk for the builders to use, and if titan is paying attention can dodge it... things are more fun when they go boom!

turtle wouldn't be able to hurt builder though... and by upgrade, use the eggs on it
