[Preview] Changelog 1.4.4a

Development has resumed. This is the preview changelog for NWU 1.4.4a.
This version aims to address bugs and game & hero balance issues.
Feel free to discuss changes and please let me know if there are additional bugs/balance issues.
I apologize but I cannot provide an accurate estimated release date, but update progress will now be transparent and updated regularly.

Heroes:
0%

  • ☐Added Indra Sasuke (AGI)
  • ☐Added Mifune (=Old Zabuza pretty much)
  • ☐Fully Revamped Asura Naruto (STR)
  • ☐Fully Revamped Zabuza (AGI)

Bug Fix:
40%

  • ☐Reworked Net Worth to be more accurate, especially when dropping items on ground or shopping with courier
  • ☑Stuns to revealed invisible units (Assassin's Cloak) now works for the following abilities, not including abilities that already stun through AC: Asuma's Ash Explosion, Naruto's Rasenshuriken, Kisame's Shark, Danzo's Vacuum, Pein's Pull, Sasori's Hammer, Shizune's Tonton, Zetsu's Narikawari, Bee's Lariat
  • ☑Tonton's damage and stun is no longer applied twice (which also fixes CA not blocking Tonton)
  • ☐Iruka can no longer kill wards with [W]
  • ☐Fixed 100% bash exploit

Game:

  • ☐Reworked gold lost from death from 90+10*herolevel to 50+Net Worth/50
  • ☐Reworked stun system so that stun duration can be manipulated (ie. items/buffs that will increase/decrease stun duration)
  • ☐Added 2 medium jungle camps to game (top Shinobi and bottom Akatsuki lane) to allow more pull tactics
  • ☐Increased maximum jungle camp pull distance to make pulling and stacking easier
  • ☐Moved middle-lane jungle camps so that jungle can be pulled to middle lane easier
  • ☐Increased jungle creep damage by 20%, also increasing their gold and XP bounty by 20-25%
  • ☐Killing Kyuubi now gives +100 team gold
  • ☐Kyuubi no longer instantly kills summons and illusions when they deal damage to Kyuubi
  • ☐Kyuubi now does 200% damage to illusions and takes 50% damage from both summons and illusions
  • ☐Added 2 shrines for each team in each forest quadrant where players can teleport to and use to activate Chakra Tablets, granting nearby players regeneration (like Night Elf's moon wells), or power-ups (depending on which Chakra Tablet is activated), whereby Shrines become vulnerable after the nearby two lanes' tier 2 towers are destroyed. Destroying Shrine gives +100 team gold.
  • ☐Shrines can be loaded with Chakra Tablets for various boosts
  • ☐Bounty runes now spawn at each Shrine at the start of each even minute (0,2,4,6,etc)
  • ☐Bottled bounty runes now give 2 charges
  • ☐Bounty runes no longer spawn at river
  • ☐Jungle spawn camps now spawn at 30 seconds and at the start of each even minute(0:30,2,4,6,etc)
  • ☐Siege creeps model size increased and attack speed increased by 50%
  • ☐Increased ranged creep level by 1 (grants more experience)
  • ☐Creeps now meet closer to Akatsuki's tower at top lane
  • ☐Game Balance: Gold bonus for ending hero spree reduced to match spree bonus amount
  • ☐Game Balance: Reworked hero kills formula (110 + streak value + (killed hero level × 8))
  • ☐Game Balance: Hero death gold loss set to 50 + NW/40 (a visual will show amount of gold loss now)
  • ☐Game Balance: Reworked assist gold formula to account for NW and allow for potential comeback (similar formula to DotA 2 but to a significantly lesser extent - less punishing for team-wipes)) (0 assist: killer gets additional [120 Gold + (5 × dying hero's level) + (0.0350 × dying hero's NW × NW factor) + (80 Gold × team NW disadvantage / 10000)]
    × [1.2 - 0.1 × (dying hero's NW ranking - 1)] × [NW ranking factor], 1 assist: [60 Gold + (4 × dying hero's level) + (0.0300 × dying hero's NW × NW factor) + (60 Gold × team NW disadvantage / 10000)]
    × [1.2 - 0.1 × (dying hero's NW ranking - 1)] × [NW ranking factor]), 2 assist: [30 Gold + (3 × dying hero's level) + (0.0250 × dying hero's NW × NW factor) + (40 Gold × team NW disadvantage / 10000)]
    × [1.2 - 0.1 × (dying hero's NW ranking - 1)] × [NW ranking factor], and so on
  • ☐Assist gold amount gained for each player is now displayed in game message

Misc:

  • ☐Hero Models: Most hero models have been modified or replaced for higher quality
  • ☐Hero Textures: Most hero textures have been replaced for higher quality
  • ☐Increased hero model sizes by 2-5%
  • ☑Added double kill and triple kill sound effects
  • ☐-dmg to toggle floating damage values above character heads (only of the amount you deal), only you will be able to see it

Items:

  • ☐Nidaime's Helm extra damage taken decreased from 20% to 10%, but also decreases armor by 2
  • ☐Both Pipes' recipes reworked
  • ☐Chakra Smasher active can now purge Sand Gourd's armor active
  • ☐Soldier pill now has short cooldown (to avoid accidental double consumption)
  • ☐Kurosawa active (Flash) now removes debuffs in 0.25 second intervals for the next 1 second after activation

Balance:

☐Anko: Will not hook units directly behind or to the side of her
☐Deidara: [W] Clay Spider now does spell damage to towers
☐Deidara: [T] C-3 damage-over-time effect no longer affects structures

NWU future plans
I would like to allow NWU players more customization with their heroes, allowing more tactics and uniqueness to each hero.
The next update, version 1.5.0 (release pending August probably), has a Talent Tree system under consideration.
It will be very time consuming to implement and balance so we will see.

-no kisa nerf ? :o
-IMO dei is ok.. just remove the damage ulti does to towers
- +5 movement speed on yondaime ? :D
-Added Mifune (=Old Zabuza pretty much).. the mist will make the game more laggy i think
-Zetsus ulti clones shouldnt give gold when they die
-What about jungle ? its pretty much useless right now!

Ist there a specific amount needed for that? :D
Also, how to make a loading screen? Would like to try if you don't need extra knowledge...

Great work though! Can hardly wait :)

if you can pls try fix some mistaked of terrain etc when yama ult sometimes on mid on entere too hg its sometimes bugg model coze of map zone. and if you try use cage on top line near portal you see like are of effect of cage before using change like somethink wrong with ground. all map is like from small pieces of land and like copy placed :D i think this is one of biggest problem at nwu . also try up a bit old heros what is forgotted like sarutobi sakon and rest ones.

Hi there!

First off: I'm very happy to see that I won the contest! I'm even more eager to see the next version now! :D

Second: Quick note about the hero balancing.. I noticed that Kiba gets a bit of a buff to his gatsuuga, i'm a little worried/surprised since it seems like Kiba needed a little bit more of a nerf than a buff. I don't think that I've been in games where Kiba's gatsuuga was preventing the player from performing successfully. (in my experience at least, others might feel differently, that's why i'm asking :D)

Third thing: Like Lucifier, I'd like to know if we were looking at any set amount for a donation, or if any bit helps!

Last but not least: I feel like you deserve a big THANKS @halibel for all the hard work you're putting into this game, working your ass off for us very few players left, it is very much appreciated! :D

I've also got a small suggestion to make: Maybe there should be a small cool-down on the pills and medicine, like there is on the food, it's a small inconvenience but it happened to me a few times to double click pills and therefore waste one, as opposed to the food where there is a small cool-down to prevent that from happening.

idk where to report bugs so i will do it here

OBS bug the game for some reason ... creeps wont move or move slowly

tenten wont lifesteal from clones (or just yamatos clones)

when kabuto ultimates. madaras skills will deal damage but not wake the hero up

oh and pls.. for the love of god.. buff poison gauntlets!!

Support. Dei shouldn't be able to easily deny a tower while he's at his fountain, nor should he be able to kill 1/4 of main base's towers with 1 ulti. I've seen games where dei goes for skill recharge item, and drop 2 bombs on the towers w/o caring for enemy team at all.

if sai casts his skills before yondaime casts his ultimate , yondaime will still take damage

Suggestions:

-Give kurosawa a cleanse active instead of flash
Chakra Smasher active can now purge Sand Gourd's armor active
why not something same with gelel ?
-Buff triple-bladed scythe or decrease the recipe cost
-Nerf first hokages necklace

ITEM IDEA : Torunes poison jar - poison gauntlets + essence of agility - idk about what extra it should give but agi +poison atks are good
