Darth.Eismann@northrend

Postby Eismann » Wed Jun 24, 2015 7:27 pm

Your Warcraft III username: Darth.Eismann
Realm/Gateway: Northrend
Why are you banned: reason: proxy IP
Why you should be unbanned: I've never played ent hosted games before, first time log in into battle.net in 3 years and I'm not using proxy at all. First login shouldn't be a reason to ban.

Does your ISP offer VPN-services? Because your hostname consists of [Your IP].dynvpn.[Your ISP]
"dynvpn" obviously stands for Dynamic VPN (Virtual Private Network).

If you think that using VPN-based technology is a crime you have to succeed David Cameron, his statements are weaker. My ISP gives me L2TP via fiber(without any other choice) connection and that's VPN, but not proxy which was stated as the reason for ban.

@Eismann I assume their product website lists it, too?

You said your internet provider offers L2TP by default. I would assume that they list this feature (L2TP) on their (product) website (aka where you bought your internet access).

tl;dr; give me any proof that you can't disable it.

https://flex.ru/hlan/flexagreement.html
Search for VPN or L2TP keywords, or you can open PDF and search there. There are no options. Only L2TP available for internet connection.

Check end user agreement again, you're bad at guessing https://flex.ru/hlan/flexagreement.html there is only one way to the internet for private users: via their L2TP server, there are no options. All the products they have are based on VPN and they're for corporate customers, you can find it, too.
Check tariffs page https://flex.ru/hlan/tarifhlan.html?view=flat : first statement there is what you need.
