Ban Appeal and don't understand...

Why you should be unbanned: My ban for flaming expired and now I'm banned for ban dodging suddenly - what on earth does that even mean? I couldn't play if banned how can I dodge it??

Dodging is defined as playing on a different account while being banned on another account, often by a (purposely triggered) change of the IP. Dodging is considered a major offense equal to maphacking.

I use a few accounts and was banned on all of them...I could only play again when I assume my ban lapsed...
If my IP changed it wasn't purposely triggered - wouldn't even know how to do that - doesn't that just happen from time to time by the ISP or rebooting the router or something?

From experience of another appeal, I think one way is by changing internet's. If you didn't do what you said you did than this might be a weird mistake. I hope you get un-ban!

As explained I didn't roll my IP whatever that means...wouldn't know how to and how on earth can you prove it?

Rolling means changing your IP to be able to play again. We can monitor everything @sin67 just so you know. So please be 100% frank.

Yes I understand - I didn't do anything - it must have been my ISP?? I'm pretty sure I've played over a 1000 games on my main account so wouldn't risk it by purposely doing anything dodgy. We're not talking life and death here what's the big deal with just unbanning me this once and if I do it again go nuts and ban me for the next decade?!

Dodging is a major offense @sin67 and there's not much you can say/do about it because like i said, we monitor everything. Unless your internet provider went down a while due to a maintenance or anything like it, or you turned your modem/router off and on for whatever reason, your IP changed. Again, be 100% frank if you want a ban lifted.

I'll be Frank or Jenny or whoever you want me to be...I DID NOT change my IP purposely....you can grill and push me as much as you want but the fact is I didn't change it purposely.

Your monitoring I'm sure has no idea whether it has been changed purposely or not so surely the benefit of the doubt goes with the player. Innocent until proven guilty and all that.

I created different accounts but clearly those were banned too - figured it was good timing to create a new one as my ELO sucked anyway

You created a new account and your ip changed. That is ban dodging.

If you say you didn't know, the day before you started dodging your ban you tried to join a game 5 times and it told you that you were banned.

Here's my advise (knowingly you knew when your flaming expired). If you know how long your ban for and can still somehow make an new account and play while you know you are ban. It's considered dodging.

Now I can't say you did it on purpose but if you did just admit it and say your sorry for not knowing what dodging is.

Dodging is a major offense and I hope you understand now.

In terms of not knowing what dodging is why would I say sorry for something I didn't know about and didn't do on purpose?

Sure I created a new account but clearly this doesn't avoid the ban - I played on non-ENT servers

Also looking back on the below - why wouldn't I have just dodged the ban straight away after trying to join 5 times - how does that make sense that I waited until the next day?

You have 1500 games on our bot, 1 name. You are banned and then you create a new account. Then a little while after you created your new name your IP changes. That is ban dodging. You can argue whatever you want, but your IP changed and your account changed, hence the ban dodging.
