Situation: I have a crappy laptop and can't afford a new one yet.
Why you should be unbanned: My laptop is constantly freezing up for a few seconds then goes back to normal. It happens when I am in games, which causes me to disconnect from my games. It is very unfortunate and I wish to be unbanned.

I have the same situation. What really helped me was getting g-proxy.

This is your 4th disconnect in as many days, and although you have a decent stay rate (91%), I would be remiss if I unbanned you now. I understand that you did not disconnect on purpose or leave the games. However, your teammates rely upon you to stay and play out the entirety of the game. When you disconnect, even when it is not on purpose, it is unfair to your teammates -- and your opponents who often do not have much time for many games and just want to play something fun and challenging.

You joined these games knowing that you do not have a laptop that can handle a complete game. Obviously it was once able to handle it. Maybe in the 2 days off you have from DotA you will be able to diagnose and fix the problem.
