You must be doing it wrong if it's not working for you.

First, go here to download and hover over and click download "link."

Secondly, Download the 3 files (.cfg, .mix, and .ini), and move those files into your Warcraft III folder.

In addition, you will have to open up gproxy.cfg file -> Select a program from a list of installed programs -> look for notepad and click ok.
The notepad will open up and edit the realm bnet_hostname = useast.battle.net

Finally, after you have done that, save it. and launch your WC3 you will see a magnifying glass change to GProxy gateway when you connect.
