Banned don't know how

Why you should be unbanned: The game completely froze. I got a Host disconnected message, then the game came back, then froze again. 10 seconds later, it said I had been disconnected. Then I lost my connection to battle.net, and got an error message from Blizzard on the Frozen Throne front page saying my "CD Key was in use in Reign of Chaos" and I guess that caused a disconnection? I'm not even sure what that means. I restarted my computer, and opened Battle.net just fine but then find out I am banned for leaving. My guess here is that there was an error on Blizzard's part, causing me to disconnect, and consequently be banned for leaving. To be clear, I was disconnected because of Blizzard having an error with my CD key (?), which I have had for YEARS, and then ENT recorded that as a leave I guess. Not sure how I can prevent this. Thanks.
