Trader has gone AFK again. This isn't an isolated incident — this user consistently demonstrates poor behaviour by frequently joining games and then immediately going AFK. While we all understand that personal issues can occasionally cause disruptions, this individual’s behaviour is exceptional in both frequency and disregard for other players.

He repeatedly joins matches and vanishes, only to be automatically unbanned after a few hours and repeat the cycle. This pattern is disruptive and unfair to others who are actively participating.

Given the repeated nature of these offences, I strongly recommend that he receives a significantly longer ban. A short auto-unban period is clearly not effective in deterring this behaviour, and a stronger sanction is needed to encourage accountability.

Players did not draw at minute 3
I’m unsure whether not drawing at minute 2/3 constitutes a bannable offence. Could you please clarify the rules around this?

This is the correct link. The previous game I played with him this day he went afk 2 times, while the enemy was near, he went afk for like 1 minute, not enough to get banned, but close enough to throw the game, seriously this guy is so annoying. The game above - I didn't vote to draw because I thought he would get banned for that if there is no draw. If game is drawn - he gets away with everything. Didn't mean to pull down your stats boys.

Trader did the same to me a few days ago, and I came very close to reporting but did not want to deal with it.

Oldman is 100% correct, he is intentionally AFK at beginning to get kicked. In my game, he immediately joined next game lobby. He does it over and over, game after game, if he doesn’t like the matchup or doesn’t have a hero he wants.

!draw is 100% optional regardless of the circumstances.

If an enemy team refuses to draw, even if a player is intentionally feeding, etc., on the other team, they aren't going to get banned.

I'm not sure how Mike or ifck wants to dictate it these days but that's how it has always been.

In regards to Trader, I don't think it was intentional. Seems like a long lobby and he was one of the first to join so he likely just forgot about the game. It happens more frequently now with the longer lobbies. Probably just alt tabs and doesn't remember. I think by now he knows most players aren't going to draw a game for him so he's basically guaranteed to get a loss in most situations. What reasoning is there for him to do that, honestly?

IMO, ban him and force him to select the "Play music when game starts" option if he wants to be unbanned. If he's still afking future games, then the bans should be longer.

And then he joined the next lobby immediately after he was kicked. In Jazzy's linked game, he was active in lobby about 2-3 mins before it started, though it is true in Oldman's link he wasn't.

His reasoning may be that he's giving his team more of a chance with leaver gold. Or forcing a draw. Or, more likely, he just doesn't care about the outcome and doesn't want to play.

Let’s get Trader’s input and see if he can address and correct this behavior.

@stratt0n – This isn't an isolated incident, as I've seen you go AFK at random times in other games as well. That said, the purpose of this ban was simply to make you aware that if this behavior becomes a consistent issue, more severe action will be taken.
