I was there. Everyone desynced except me and Ogre.

Dunno if @h3rmit is still involved, but I have a guess. In previous versions the problem with desyncs in Lanaya-games was related to something with randoms. Ogre uses a random variable too in his multicast. Just an idea.

Leoric is the new teachies.
I think the leoric`s ulti now with aghanim is very op in this version. With a good combo, not the perfect one, you basically gonna win every team battle.
LC also with aghanim seems even stronger than before.
The dragon lance, that gives extra range make a bit unbalanced the game, now almost every range hero can hit the tower undisturbed.

First example: https://entgaming.net/findstats.php?id=12273778 Game was actually over. Suddenly everyone desyncs, only me (as Thrall) and Superballer (Ogre) remain. I was semi-afk in base. So i suppose it was some of Ogres skills. But it's just a guess.

Don't revert back to the old map. Let us deal with this version so that we all can get acclimated.

Regarding the changes with certain heroes with scepter - It might look one sided now but we'll find a way to deal and counter it once we get enough games in.

For instance, LC scepter - This may look OP but it's also a negative. LC won't be able to retrieve if a team comes to help the ally that's on duel.

It'll be more annoying if we go back to the old map after getting adjusted with the one now.

Hmm....I lean on the side that we revert the map back. there's not really any harm done. "just take a poll a few days after to see if people want to keep it or not".

What's annoying is that this map has a bunch of positives but there are also many negatives that cancel out the positives.

For example, someone in a game today said the new map feels "cluttered" and I can't help but agree. Furthermore there are a bunch of random ass unnecessary changes, like axe call now having a ~0.5 second delay when you click it now, as well as wagons now not being magic immune, some creeps in jungle are now buffed, etc. list goes on

i appreciate that important changes regarding heroes and general mechanics have been mentioned here, but is there anywhere you can see a list of all items and their compositions? after a few games now i have noticed that some items are built differently than before (for example refresher) and i would like to know that in advance. a list of which items are affected, apart from the new ones, would be cool.

Why do you hate him so much? He's not even that toxic. He trash talks sure, you can just trash talk him back or ignore him. You harass him way more than he ever did you.

The player count issue has nothing to do with him at all. We had 2-3 games running simultaneously last week and now Wednesday at 7 pm, they are votestarting with 8 players. I never imagined ENT could die so quickly and suddenly. It could have easily been another 3-5 years on the old map before the player count dropped to this level, and it's possible that it never would have. ENT had a niche of hosting the old version. Now it's just DotA 2 (a free downloadable game) in a worse engine. What exactly is the value that ENT delivers? Being able to play with the same people all day?

That's because people know in my thread the injustice of it all. Thats why so many replies, people couldnt believe the massive conspiracy of ruin against me, and the unreal disparity in game play when someone was on my team vs when they were against me.

Actually I like this new map, however we still have a lot of low IQ players that has never improved. Astros and I know a lot of good players from clan FBG but I don't know yet if they want to come back or not.

All, a poll has been added to this post which will last for 7 days. We will collect the votes and make a determination if we should stay on new map, revert back to 6.83 or we need more time on the new map. A decision will be made on 1/29 at 12 PM EST.

Note: You are allowed to select up to 2 options. This is incase you are not fully sure yet and need more time on the new map. You are able/allowed to change your vote within the 7 days.

Final words - Regardless, if the decision is to stay on the new map 6.85 or revert back to the old 6.83 we will not be changing it again for another decade (exactly how some of you folks like it). Just to reiterate this, if the decision is to stay on the new map 6.85 (DotA v6.85ne14b.w3x) this exact version that will remain with no foreseeable or expected upgrade/updates in the future (not even minor updates) and don't ask us for any upgrades in the future. The same applies if the decision is to revert back to old.

Why not run two games, one with the new map and one with the old map. That way there's no need to revert back.

I think the new map is not great, and handicaps various chars while strengthening or not changing others. I haven't been playing, but if the people like it then it is what it is

I don't have a strong opinion on the new map as I've only played it a handful of times. My current vote is to keep the new map. It's nice to have a little change of pace and most of the changes are positive from what I can tell. I plan to play a little more this week (hopefully) and make a more informed vote.

With that said, I very much appreciate the effort Mike and Astros have put into this with hopes to improve this community. Not a lot of people left that are investing time/energy to do that (myself included), so thank you. I'm also inclined to trust their judgement on this and want to give the map the benefit of the doubt before jumping to any conclusion.
