Ban appeal

Postby kylegoods » Sun May 18, 2014 10:35 pm

Warcraft III username: rangeban
Realm: useast.battle.net
Game name: https://entgaming.net/openstats/?bans=&search=rangeban - this link shows all the bans for rangeban
Situation: I just got a new internet provider and suddenly I can't play any dota arem or apem games with ENT. The two usernames I use are "emir" and "kylegoods", but it says the username rangeban was banned. I'm assuming my IP address changed with the new provider and now I'm banned for some reason.
Why you should be unbanned: Because it was not my account that got banned. Also, I can play on my two accounts when I play from a different location so it must be the IP address

This is bad, what your main account? and games?
I'm not able to help, however my opinion is a pain to some admins like art red skin!

I don't know how ENT does it but a GM would have to cross reference your IP with the ones on file for both rangeban and your other account(s). They may ban by username too, which would mean you would pick up any prior IPs from rangeban. It's probably going to take a short time for the GMs to get on board but just hang tight. If you're innocent, they'll know

For the arem bot it says:
Username: rangeban
Admin: bouncinghitman
Reason: Bot specific (38): elitechild - range ban 23873

For the apem bot it says:
Username: rangeban
Admin: art)y
Reason: Bot specific (11): elitechild - range ban 23873

Well, @aRt)Y or @BouncingHitman can inform you about the rangeban. I doubt that the rangeban itself will be removed though.

You should be able to play on arem and apem us/ca again.
Information, Rules, Guides and everything else you need to know about ENT is on the ENT Wiki.
