Ban Appeal

Your Warcraft III username: arcaniteangel
Realm/Gateway: U.S East
Why you were banned: 'maphacking'
Why you should be unbanned: Althought I wasn't actually maphacking during my game of Island Defense, I could have been much more well-mannered and behaved towards the accusing admin. My ban was over a year ago, and I apologize for being so childish back then. I have re-read all the rules and again, and i'm very sorry for what happened long ago. I hope I can once again play on your welcoming servers, just like the good old times!

This appeal was made by someone else who uses the same copy as myself, their.. intentions noted yet not delievered in fullness. At the time I was starting to drift off to playing other games, if playing any games at all and had grown bored of the game, which also explains why I didn't care until now. Yes, there is a replay of visible maphacking shown, and it wasn't until now that the game had piqued a nostalgic interest in myself - yet it appears ENT has become a monopoly of the game now and has almost taken over every avaiable server with the large hosting bot, so why wouldn't I come back applying for an appeal.
Where's the harm in unbanning me anyhow? It only directly affects a few custom gamemodes anyhow, and at least if I was to revert back to that old malicious form from so long ago it would be spotted and we would end up back here. Additionaly - you may ask, am I asking for forgiveness from so long ago? No. I am however asking for a second chance, and if you'd allow me to play on the servers again and with the general playerbase given the opportunity of course that would be ever be quite generous and you'd have my gratitude.
- A.C.

I don't think the moderators care about your generousity or gratitude. we care about fair games and fair gaming.
"and at least if I was to revert back to that old malicious form from so long ago it would be spotted and we would end up back here"
This shouldn't be an option.

I'm sorry, you're also not a moderator yourself, so you shouldn't involve yourself as much as you are - especially within a ban appeal, from which I have no knowledge of who you are. It's not like this is a 'recent' offense either, and has affected you personally in anyway.
I'm not going to give the entire, "I'm sorry, I will never do this again spiel." because I don't know anyone, so they're not going to take my word and like you said they're moderators. I can say I won't pursue these actions again, however as mentioned above - it would be from their generosity to give me another chance.

Correct, though in my view he's not directly connected with this appeal while you are. That's the difference.
The appeal was made by someone else whom uses the account, besides the point it's my copy of the game - still my problem.
It was said on the original ban on the forums, that the ban was set at 1y. It's been more than one year by standards of Jan 01, 2014, by around two months or so as well.

There are multiple people that can reside in one housing, and use the same IP address.. you know that right?
I apologize, that was my mistake as I was basing it off the actual time of the postings.
