How do i Get banned for taking a GEM after someone dies and drops it !

Why are you banned: Item Steal ?
Why you should be unbanned: I should be unbanned because you cant steal a Gem when someone dies.. It drops on the ground and it is anyones to claim. I was granted control of a allies currier and he had purchased the Gem, then he died....I used currier to pick it up and i Took it, how is this stealing . This makes no sense. It is a gem , not a normal item that has a single owner, seriously ?
