i had a chat with brouder and jabba so wanted someone else to review it and answer my doubts

it was denied again here

my questions were

so if he joins a game , all of us who dont like his provocation should leave ? ( even in opposite teams he likes to chat in ALL )
even if i ignore he can talk shit about me for others to read ?

after the 2nd request which was denied i still didnt get a clear answer

i didnot get a clear answer .
is this not raging and provoking ?
and if he has been warned several times before , then why does he get away always

if it was denied , as the admins thought there was rage from both sides
why are both of us not banned . the other 2 members from our team suffered because of it

as i have cleared in both the posts , ull have to read the chat to see the provocation .

apart from that game , i had attatched a chat log from other game which shows the frequent provocation pattern by him

So do i have to ignore the provocation all the time ? as i see he has been warned a lot of times before and never banned for it .
so i only i have these options here

although he has been doing it since a long time( admin opinions in my 2nd post ) and also since a long time with me and i have ignored him many times , but its sad to see him taking advantage of that ignore and saying things about me in ALL chat later

-> Next time a conversation with in the team started you straight wanted other to ignore him for wahtever reason. "ignore him and let him speak about me to other members and not defend myself" - You dont want him to talk bad about you, so why do you immediatly started to drag him into a position like he did anything bad?

So thats the start of this quite minor provocation in general, what happened after is based on your actions the same as it is on his. He used !ignore at least, like we want people to do.

As i answered your questions in chat i didnt felt like writing a whole post about it again as its kinda waste of time.

Regarding your "unaswered" question: We told you to dodge him if you dont like his attitude which is not as bas as i would say he deserves a break from playing on ENT.
The things you linked in your 2nd banrequest are mostly forum lated and most of them runescape related things, this is over and his behaviour got A LOT BETTER since then.

You made something personal out of it and carry things from previous games into new ones, which lead to this kinda "toxic" enviroment as soon as you two start talking with each other. You two have to fix this.
I agree vendeta is maybe someone who isnt very easy to get along with but from what you provided in no way toxic, especially not when you provoke him too and then complaint about him provoking you back.

Keeping this in mind i stand to my decision to have denied the first banrequest. And would have denied the second one aswell.

EDIT: Having him warned about his behaviour before which was bad doesnt mean he has to be a saint from now on, just keep it on a acceptable level.

People keep forgetting that ENT is an online community after all. And just as humanity has its flaws, so does the internet. Flaming is, unfortunately, a part of it and nothing we can battle by censoring or harsh bans.

ENT takes the approach of enforcing warnings at first, as insults are extremely subjective - a mod might ban you 5 days for calling you a fag while I would dismiss it as minor. It depends on the level of tolerance and endurance. Two things our policies regarding flaming are mainly based on.

We expect our players to be mannered and matured; that means they can ignore the insults but still communicate with their team members when it's important. That being the reason we punish users who ignore their team for the entire game: it's hindering the communication.

However, you should not mistake this "lenient" approach as us not caring; nor should you interpret it as an invitation to purposely flaming others. It's a fine line no one should dare to exploit or play around with.

As the conflict of flaming and getting flamed is obviously two sided, you will have to do your part, too. Which means you either ignore their flames and label them as childish attempts to seek attention or you might completely leave the lobby. However, both leaving and fighting back is just playing in their cards.

tl;dr; There's no perfect solution for to stop flaming, no perfect solution for those getting harassed and neither a proper one for ENT. It's a balance each of us has to keep.

As I dont see any abuse nor wrongdoing in the ban requests (but mere questions), I will archive this complaint. If you should still have questions regarding ENT's ban policy, please feel free to post in the general discussion section or search the forums for past discussions.
