If he continued, I'd mute for about 30seconds-1minute, if after that it still happened, and was becoming excessive, then I'd mute for the whole game. If the player was on the opposing team, I'd do the command where it's allys only chat allowed, so no all chat, so that I wouldn't have to put up with it, nor have to use any commands to in someway offend the player.

I do like your answer but it's not what I was looking for. If flaming was only targeted at you, then your best solution is use the !ignore command rather than !mute.

However, i just wish to point out, that he wrote that he started playing actively in 2003. Also had the best clan on East for LTW. He was 8 years old in 2003, and perhaps 9 or 10 when he said he moved on to another custom in WC3. I find it hard to believe that a child, would become the best at anything computer related. Unless he's a genius, however, then he wouldn't be spending his time living with his mom and bodysurfing instead of becoming a billionaire.

Didn't read the rest, but that part sounded like a lie if I ever saw one :)

Wrong, i've been playing since the beginning. I was 10 when i started playing Rain of Chaos (11 when tft). I enjoyed all the games. I would have considered myself a pro at Enfo's back then (even in all those glitched versions, over powered heros, etc). Yes you can make clans, yes you can be good at games, yes you can claim your clan was the best. If you think it is, then it is. I don't really understand what you are going for here. I've been in many clans over the years, changed my name a dozen times and forgot all but one of my favorite usernames (baking_a_pie back in 2003).

Oh, here's a kicker for you, I'm 22 and still live at home with my mom. Is that bad? No, the economy sucks. Not only that, he is 18. So obviously, he would still be living at home. You should also learn a little bit of something about "real life" because you obviously haven't learned much of anything. Just because he bodysurfs and lives with his mom doesn't mean he isn't a hard working individual. Maybe he is going to school? Maybe he has a job? Maybe he has TWO jobs? There is always time for games. Whether you think so or not, I believe you should learn a little bit about what really goes on before you make a lame assumption like:
"then he wouldn't be spending his time living with his mom and bodysurfing instead of becoming a billionaire."

I give my full support on this application. I would have words with anyone who says otherwise (as long as they PM me). It is a well done application, hidden truths were told, apologies, etc. etc. He knows games that most moderators don't even know.

Pushed some buttons did I?

You are misinterpretating the entire post I made. "Unless he's a genius, however, then he wouldn't be spending his time living with his mom and bodysurfing instead of becoming a millionaire".

Highlighting the points I made. Your subjective reasoning towards wether or not a clan is the best, is inconsequential. You are either the best, or you're not. Also, Enfos, really? Are you comparing Enfos with a high paced 1v1v1etc? My point was that an 8year old is limited in his/her ability to learn and understand. If you want to discuss that, don't, and go study harder instead.

I'm not saying that he shouldn't become an admin, or that he's full of shit, I'm saying that an 8 year old, UNLESS being a genius, is not capable of becoming the best at jack shit...... Why you would get so worked up over this, is beyond me.

By the way, it was on US.West. Now, I did have one of the best clans, any clan that tried and battled mine, I overcame the situation and won. We lost almost never, I cannot record a loss, but I wasn't there for every single battle. Now even an adult would agree, a child is more efficient and productive towards a game then an adult, seeing as and proven, a child won't read an instruction manual, they'll just go ahead and start playing and learn along the way, an adult tends to read the instruction manual simply because it's beneficial, therefore a child has a feeling more stronger towards the game than an adult, they learn from what they see and judge on how they play.

You're misinterpreting everything you've just said as well. Age has no deficiency against this matter and invalidates your opinion.

I actually disagree with this point because as moderators we are I would say designated to listen to everyone despite if they had annoyed me, this is why I do not do the ignore command.
