hey,

@legiontdgrrr Thanks for applying.

We would like to see you posting on BRQ so we can see how you judge cases and review them.

Are you able to use DRM to review games ?

Feel free to hit me up on discord :)

The reviews he did were accurate, and everytime he wasnt 100% sure he asked and understood what he got told quite nice :)

Support by me.

Reviews I looked through seemed accurate for the most part. I also appreciate his effort to reach out to current mods for advice and listen to it. Overall, I think legiontdgrrr shows potential to be a great moderator.

However, I do see some discrepancies with solo sending cases (which may be more subjective). For example,
viewtopic.php?f=24&t=133119
viewtopic.php?f=24&t=133079

Another one for king juggle: (I reviewed this to check applicant's king juggling knowledge - it does seem he agrees this is a king juggle here)
viewtopic.php?f=24&t=134058
Not really sure why you recommended not banning for king juggle as this was quite obviously a successful attempt to ruin the game. Regardless of the situation, king juggling to cause a loss early is never okay.

Some of these are from weeks ago though and I believe legiontdgrrr has likely learned from this. Most of his more recent reviews seem accurate.

Only other issue I can see is language barrier as English doesn't seem to be your first language - which might have been the reason for the opinions given on the solo sending cases mentioned above (these cases are focused around communication). But, I think your English skills are advanced enough for the job, albeit not on the level of most/possibly all current mods.

Note: I edited some of this the next day after I reviewed the 3rd link I provided.

He has been very active. Due to the language issues mentioned by Kappa, longer texts can occasionally be a little difficult to understand, but that shouldnt be a big issue as long as he keeps learning at the pace he did so far.

I'm sorry but the language barrier is too inconsistent to look past. While I can understand it may not be your first language, this is an english forum and you're applying to become a mod on it - I'd expect at-least more efforts to go into your posts rather than just walls of texts.

Following that, I don't see any requests linked with this application so I had to pick some at random from your previous posts and I find the same language barrier issue but mostly I find a lot of disagreement between the community and your reviews. In some instances you even get argumentative with some, which shouldn't be seen from a mod candidate.

The application itself is hard to understand, there's a lot of misspelling of words and I'm not sure why the rules/your other accounts were listed towards the end. Like I said, I can understand if english isn't your first language but honestly, there should be more of an effort to be made not just here but on your reviews.

Overall, I don't think you're ready.

Just FYI: I told him he dont need to add all his reviews in here, as he was active for quite some time and everyone who does BRQ would have noticed already anyway.

I would rather ask someone that isnt a native speaker 1-2 times what he tried to tell me over denying someone cause he has troubles expressing himself. If he dont have the right insight to moderate , i can understand thats a con. English skills shouldnt be imo, since he makes up for it with his dedication and work ethic afaik. Its not like his enlgish is as bad as mine :D
