Brief introduction:

Most of you know me as Getstomped. Ive played dota since roughly 2005, and been on ENT for a very long time (nearly 2400 games).
I am from New York.
I work as a district data coordinator for a school district (Excel and Access are my life), as well as a youth soccer trainer.
I graduated Binghamton university with a Bachelors in hydrologic sciences in 2009.
I regularly play soccer, run, and love to see movies and travel

What are your current hours of playing time (approximate): 1-4 hours a day depending on my availability. As many of you moderators already know, i'm very active on chat during the day.

What is your current time zone: Eastern GMT -4

Describe any relevant experience, both in moderating and in Warcraft III: I work as an administrator during the day, as well as in the soccer community I coach in. Managing expectations, making decisions, and applying sound reasoning is a regular part of my day. I intend to carry that over to moderation as part of the community. I've also held officer positions in a WoW clan when I used to play a few years ago.

Why do you want to become a game moderator: I've played many games on the ENT servers. I have a wealth of knowledge regarding the rules and technical support that I'd love to be in a position to share. Being a part of the community for so long, using the knowledge I've gained through experience and chatroom activity, I'd like to now do my part in moderation.

What will you bring to the ENT/Warcraft III community: As stated above, I have years of experience playing dota, Years of experience playing on ENT, and have the availability to make worthwhile contributions in a moderative role.

Closing Statement: I know a lot about dota and all the rules laid out by ENT on the wiki page. There is always room to gain more knowledge, and my consistent chat activity will help me gain just that. Current mods see me regularly in chat during the day, and at night. I'm available to help, available to gain knowledge, and available to help the community grow, as we all know ENT will.

-Hmm... yes, it has been like half a yr since you last told me you were gonna apply for staff.

-You are very active on chat and have a positive attitude and expectations towards the community.

-You mentioned to me yourself that the mod position may not be suitable to you since you do rage during pub games.
How will you deal with this?

-You do use fcd a lot and have reported violators. But, why dont you use drm? Are you able/willing to commit time watching replays when reviewing ban requests?

-Easily manageable, the !ignore function will be my friend. I also plan on devoting more time to moderation than playing. But again, rage won't be a issue.

-I have DRM and replay seeker installed. I plan on committing time (of course) and using DRM for mh related ban requests. I am active in chat as you know, so I will be looking to mods like yourself whenever I have questions.

While this application stays pending, I suggest you check brqs especially ones with fog clicks and show us that you know how to use drm.

I will be on chat if you need any assistance.

Since you say you can contain your rage issues, you will start using drm, and willing to commit time, I have no objections.

Well, i've known this guy for a while now. Active on forum/chat, shows some commitment, by giving help/assistance on appeals/ban requests. Got knowledge/experience on DotA from what i've noticed on ban requests / playing with him. Rage issues - Well even though this might be a little problem, i'm sure you will be able to overcome it, so that it won't get on your way =]

My only issue is, as nabo stated, the knowledge/usage of mod tools: I know you probably know how to use them (when reviewing mh related cases, you even point out the FCD clicks in which the action happened), however the clicks/actions that prove that is legit come from DRM log.

So as nabo said, start using DRM and show us the usage of it while your application is still pending. I'm still giving !support on this, as i'm sure it will be easy for him to get used to the tools.

-Activity is good. Positive attitude on forums but sometimes rage ingame
-Does not have significant experience with judging maphacking. I see that you can only judge maphack cases (which are most of your brqs) with FCD clicks and not with DRM/suspicious gameplay.
-Posting the whole foglog on a ban request is not acceptable; you should only post the ones that are legit.
-You should comment on several ban requests (not just mh ones), indicating your thoughts on the ban. and not just posting your own ban requests.
-Not sure if you can tell if a click is legit or delayed/bugged here

As stated above, DRM is something i'm actively working on, and am gaining experience with. I reviewed a case earlier today that i edited to add to my mod app, which is still pending repost.

Not sure what you're referring to here. I usually post the foglog of just the player i'm reporting and bold the legit clicks.

You should comment on several ban requests (not just mh ones), indicating your thoughts on the ban. and not just posting your own ban requests.

Thanks again for comments and I'll continue to weigh in on different types of Ban Requests and post DRM usage.

I am missing ban requests for different genres & different things than just maphack. They also reach back to December last year?

Furthermore, !ignore is not the solution for a moderator. You are supposed to represent ENT and therefore be capable of managing some pressure (even more since you work in a school). You must be reading ('read' not 'flame back') what they write else you can't provide service in form of information and neither help your teammates or the enemies (e.g. he ghosts).

He only plays doto and even for that, his consistency is not perfect. Neither did he actually respond to my question/statement (another reason the app seemed on hold).
