Brief introduction: I'm an active member of the community and have spent a lot of my own time to do things for community whether that be ban appeals / ban requests, teaching new players and helping people out in chat. I'm currently studying a Software Engineering Degree and in my spare time I split it between ENT, Warcaft 3 gaming and developing Island Defense Standalone.

What are your current hours of playing time (approximate): I'm active everyday and I either have Warcraft 3 of ENT open at all times apart from Tuesday and Thursday day times due to university.

What is your current time zone: GMT

Describe any relevant experience, both in moderating and in Warcraft III: I spent around 2 years working in Business Administration so I'm very much used to customer service and handling queries. I've been Team Leader on a few charity events which gave me a better understanding of how to deal with a team and support others to achieve the overall goal. As for Warcraft 3 I've been playing it ever since I was a child when it first came out and over the years have played basically every game on it. I pick games up quickly and adapt to the rules. Although I don't play Dota on Warcraft 3 I used to play it alot and have around 900 hours on Dota 2 so I'm well versed in the game. However I did take a 2 year break away from Warcraft 3 and the internet in general.

In honesty I've gained most of my experience and knowledge from real life experiences.

Why do you want to become a game moderator: I'm already active in the community as well as in the ban requests / ban appeals section so it feels like a natural step at this point to apply for a position. I'm well versed in the rules of most games on ENT and I think I'm mature enough to make well balanced decisions on most if not all cases.

What will you bring to the ENT/Warcraft III community: I'm honest and I think that's a key value. If I have an opinion I'll make it noted. I'm not going to say that I'll point blank agree with something that someone says because I know I won't. But if someone makes a point and has a reason and explanation that's logical and makes sense then I'm happy to listen to it and try to understand it from their point of view.

If I had access to tools to check bans I would be a lot more active in Ban Appeals.

More dota brqs would be great seeing that it is the most reported game. Do you play Dota LTD?

I don't play LTD as such because honestly I don't enjoy the game but I used to play it and I understand the rules. Also played it's counterpart on SC2, not that it matters

Overall, he looks ready to start: Active on forum/chat, been helping out on appeals/brq, seems to know how to use tools and got knowledge over rules.

However like nabo. i'd like to see you post a few more brq focusing on tools usage and to maintain activity: From what i've noticed so far, when reviewing replays, you do pay attention on details, and got a good judgement over suspicious movements.

I'm still supporting this, since i believe you will be a good addition to the staff and will be able to do as we asked =)

Well written application. However, please split the ban request and appeals, so it's easier to review them.

You said you played Wacraft 3 since you were a child, are there any known clans you were in? Any staff positions or community-related work before?

May I also ask from which country you are? GMT is rather vague unless you live in Greenwich. Oo

@art)y I live in England, UK. I was in a well known sheep tag clan call Clan Behh for 3 years. Back then I was too young and immature to care for community related work in honesty. Nowadays I understand that a better community builds a better game. I currently reside in Clan BTI.

Considering you just started actively participating on the forum one month ago, what triggered it?

Prior to my activity I was just simply too busy with university to make any valid contribution to be honest. I was also busy setting up my own project and that took longer than expected but now everything is settled and I've found a balance with my time I feel I can make the contribution that I would like to.

ShadowZz definitely holds potential, I have no doubt that he'd make a good a Moderator. Active in the ban request section/appeal section and did help me majorly in a ban request. Knows how to be accurate on time stamps and knows the DRM well enough.

@Agreements Well, I think that I'm very enthusiastic with everything that I do and being a moderator would hold no exception. I'm honest and that follows through when I do ban requests currently. A good example would be the ban request about Omnipotent map hacking. Whilst I had no intention of it being condescending I thought it was a joke that someone had posted it and just allowed my personality to flow into my reply. Some may think that is bad but I think it shows that I'm not immature or fake and that I can still make a fair decision with my own opinions included.

Anyone who sees me in ENT Chat can vouch for the fact that I'm always happy to help whoever needs help.

I understand when to be firm and when to be forgiving. I don't believe in zero tolerance and recently had a conversation with a moderator due to a disagreement I had about a mod banning people for kicking him after lagging but not being able to drop due to gproxy repeatedly for 15 minutes. I can put myself in that situation and see that I myself would be irritated so why should I expect other people not to be.

I strive for perfection in my normal life as what I want to do dictates not making mistakes. This generally leads to my ban request reviews being very meticulous as @J4zZm4N can vouch for that.

I think overall I can put myself in the shoes of other people and make a decision case by case with thorough review.

@ShadowZz While it's useful to know what caused the rule violation (POV of player), you still have to enforce ENT's policy accordingly within its boundaries.

I do not know to which reply you refer but having a personality is important. We do expect you to voice your opinion in staff related discussions. However, letting your posts get influenced by emotions is not ok - we do expect professionalism and neutral posts (just in general).

I haven't seen you too much on chat (or hadn't paid attention to you, dunno) but perhaps you can increase your activity there a bit.
That fact that you've only been active recently is a reason to be concerned but we hope you will keep up your work steadily.

Furthermore, since you got mainly support from ID players, I do hope that you will also process other genres. Keep in mind that starting to process them at the beginning is more favorable for you than after a few months (in case of mistakes).
