@Augustinus where did you see the old link? the https://entgaming.net/wc3connect.exe is also latest, but are we linking to an old version in some places?

I do not know how to activate wc3connect like ago?

@Saikyo when 2018101401 version crashes, you get something saying "wc3connect-2018100501.exe" in the error detail? Or are these screenshots of crashes with the two different versions?

What OS are you on? (e.g. Windows 7 64-bit)

Tried the debug version today one hour ago, before posting here (from that very link u send me here), but it still crash in the very same way.
About the screens 2nd is related to 1st, 2nd is just detail of the 1st (i think i gave details form different version tho (just noticed that it says 5 instead of 4 in 2nd but that is the very same anyway in any verison).

I am unable to login to the WC3Connect cilent (wc3connect-2018101401.exe), I have not changed my password.
Does the client have password length limits or something thats truncating my password.

Had problems validating but I was just using the tool incorrectly, since I was unaware that the WC3Connect account is now different from the Forum one. Thanks anyway :3

@duckness I tested with forum account that has 32-character password and I was able to login. I also see your password hash is same for both forum and WC3Connect. So right now with the same password (and same username), you can login to the forum but not to WC3Connect? For a quick fix I could delete your WC3Connect account so you can sign up.

@Skyrius hmm I think you are doing something wrong. Because it says you are trying to validate an empty username. After going ENT Link -> Validate, did you write "Skyrius" for username and realm = WC3Connect?

Edit: nvm I see you got it working and you weren't trying to do "skyrius"

@uakf.b sure, we can try that (also, I'm a little concerned that you're implying that you store passwords in plaintext and that you logged into my account)

@duckness I deleted your WC3Connect account.

They are not stored in plaintext, I said the hash is the same. If they were stored in plaintext I could test it directly.

Also, did your password have any special characters (non-printable ASCII characters, or maybe Unicode characters; "#|@! etc" should be fine but like did it have emoji or something)?

OK I just tested a password with spaces and & and it doesn't work. So I will look into it. Thanks for info.

Well phpbb does something stupid with the ampersands and spaces. But WC3Connect will do it too now (for imported accounts, not accounts created in WC3Connect) so the login issues should be fixed. @Stripella maybe this would fix your problem too.
