Re: gproxy
Hi @bbuckland72,
As noted in the attached picture your username is invalid. Make sure you have created an account on the europebattle.net site.
LINK: http://europebattle.net/register/
Also, make sure you've setup the information correctly in your .cfg file (information here: http://europebattle.net/w3/)
One final thing, I assume you are trying to connect to the private server and not the official?
Official server address for Europe is - europe.battle.net
Hopefully that helps, and if you have any further issues don't hesitate to ask.

Re: gproxy
Thank you so much Unitil.
So I recreated a username for the server.
Then I tried both w3.europebattle.net and europebattle.net, and this is what happened.
This is my config file (thank you Jabba41 for the correction)
I appreciate any help you can give.
Thanks again:)

Re: gproxy
Seems like your setup is correct (Here is mine for your viewing pleasure):
What I've found out while getting mine setup is the following:
1. Password had to be sent in all lower-case even if an uppercase was registered with the account.
2. You're not required to have their special files within your 1.27b installation directory.
Now, it's still saying your username is incorrect unfortunately. I personally did not run into this issue (even with upper/lower case when switched out), and even made a second account to be certain. Make sure you have not put any extra spaces at the end of your username.
The only issue I ran into was when the password went through. It appears that submitting capitals in your password in GProxy++ does not work through the EuroBattle.net server (submitted with all lower-case and it worked).
Hopefully what I've noted above helps you get this figured out.

Re: gproxy
Thank you Unitil, this has been great.
Could explain perhaps a bit more about the password issue?
Here is the issue now that I am pass the username problem using the same configuration.

@bbuckland72
Looks like you may have missed adding the following under optional settings:
passwordhashtype = pvpgn
Example of password issue:
Actual password is "Supersecretpassword"
What i've put into GProxy.cfg is "supersecretpassword"
Not sure if this will affect you, but just something to keep in mind if you get an error
This is required since the standard method for authentication is meant for official battle.net servers only. Once you've added this to your GProxy.cfg file let me know if you're experiencing any errors still.

Re: gproxy
@bbuckland72 change => bnet_custom_war3version = 27
to
bnet_custom_war3version = 28
See if this will help you connect since the current version of war3 is 28, not 27
