Disconnecting after another player lags out?

So, twice now, another player will lag out, and at the end of their lag timer, once the window goes away, I've been immediately disconnected. Is this the bot's way of preventing unfair games, or what? Idk what's going on here, because it's not a problem with my net, as everything else has been working fine for me.

Shit I didn't actually think to save the replays. I'll do that if it happens again though.

Ok so I just remembered what you meant by replay link lmoa

It just happened again while someone was lagging. As soon as I typed, the lag window stopped and I was disconnected. Here's one of the other games https://entgaming.net/findstats.php?id=9716082 (I think this is one of them but I'm not sure because this might've been the one where my power went out idk) and here's the latest one: https://entgaming.net/findstats.php?id=9726671

@Jabba41 Every time I see somebody claiming this in a game or a ban appeal, whenever I check the replay, there's no notion of a player lagging through the provided chatlog, but they're being disconnected with the remote host error.

The only two things I can think of, is there's either an issue with them connecting to the host bots, or they're running something in the background that they shouldn't be (and it's disconnecting them).

Apparently for one of them, someone build and upgraded a geomancer, but I don't remember what the #s were on the first 2 games I d/c'd from so I can't tell you what happened there :/

Are you using something like a fogclick-detector? Mine suddenly caused desyncs after upgrading from W7 to W10.
Could you upload a screenshot of your WC3-folder (installation) in case you forgot and don't know which file could be it.

I know this sounds cliche, but did you try to reinstall it? Something must be corrupt, otherwise I see no reason why it behave like that.
Before you reinstall, you can try to install GProxy? That way we can rule out that it isn't a temporary (split-second) loss of internet-connection.

@Vostok_The_Kurd

Have you attempted to use GProxy DLL (if you're connected to the official servers and are using windows)?

The game itself is 15+ years old, and has no build-in reconnection tool. The smallest bump in your connection can cause you to lose your connection to the host. Third-party tools have been developed over the lifetime of Warcraft 3, to help alleviate these issues.

Below are the links to the reconnection tools available for use, still recommend GProxy DLL
Having an unstable internet connection or a high risk of lagging out? Are you tired of losing a won game because you disconnected?
Do not worry, there are solutions to solve your problem!
    • ENT Connect is a on LAN connection based reconnection tool (no cd-keys needed).
    • GProxy++(Varlock) is a reconnection tool for the battle.net with an external prompt.
    • GProxy++ DLL is a reconnection plugin for battle.net (Recommended).
