Odd Hosting/ "Ban" bug

So what's happened to me is a bit of a doozy, but I'm sure it's nothing too bad. I'll cut to the chase; I host a game, it hosts just fine, and other people can join it, but when I "join" the game, my screen freezes for a few seconds and then it takes me back to the public/clan chat screen. What my friends have told me is they see that I join the game and instantly leave upon joining. I've been assured that this isn't a ban that's preventing me from joining, nor are any of my aliases or accounts actually banned. The question then is if I'm not banned, I'm not entirely sure what's kicking me out. I thought at first it had to do with the anti-flood bot, but I patiently wait and refresh, so I'm unsure. Either way, I hope some help comes along, and I hope this doesn't cause too much trouble
