The new patch
Due to the recent update by blizzard, dota games are quite unstable atm and tend to crash frequently. I am wondering if there is a way for players get get safelisted/whitelisted for this kind of disconnect, so that they will not get banned for game crash?

The bots are unable to distinguish between a disconnect/leave when compared to a crash. There is also no whitelist for bans associated with your account directly. Whitelists simply prevent users from being affected by range bans.
Stick to appeals, and we will try and address it when available.
You can also try to avoid games that you're aware they have issues with crashing.
