ENT Gaming

At home I can join ENT games just fine. At college, the games show up in the list of custom games, but when I try to join it gives me the "game cannot be found" message. However, i can join the euro games with no problem. I also can join dotacash games just fine. any idea how to fix this??? I want to play ENT dota games

Not at college. At home I play ENT games regularly.
I don't understand why I can join the euro games ( [ent] dota apem euro #74 ) but not the regular ones ( [ent] dota apem us/ca #60 )

Well I think that your college blocks the port that our Atlanta servers use thus making you unable to join them. You're the not the only person that has issues connecting to certain bots.

To better understand your issue I think you should host a game via ENT link and try joining games on each server. After you're done with that can you tell me which servers you can and cannot join?

I hosted a game using the Atlanta server and it let me join it. But I still can't join the games hosted by bots. I will try the other servers now

Colleges are very well known to block certain ports that they feel are "unsafe" or they feel are going to suck up bandwidth (known ports games are hosted on.) Our different bots hosts to different ports so that we can try to cater to a lot of different people, thus because your college blocks the specific port that some of our autohost bots host to, you aren't able to join those. But like I said, not all of our bots host to the same ports, so you must not be able to join this specific one, but are able to join others.

Is there a way I can get around these port blocks? I can't join any ENT dota games.

Send a message to your college's IT department and ask them to unblock the ports? I doubt they would though, they probably block them for some reason only they know.
