Did everything as u described but still havin issue with wrong game ver.

my cfg. looks like this

### required config values

war3path = C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\Frozen Throne
cdkeyroc = [...]
cdkeytft = [...]
server = europe.battle.net
username = [SpawnLQX]
password = [...]
channel = [Clan ENT]

### optional config values

war3version = 26
port = 6125
exeversion =
exeversionhash =
passwordhashtype =

would be good if this could work even if i bet itll make me feel like a bnet criple, but the dcs r killin me, so everythins better than them.

yea before i had it without frozen throne too, now i tried, its like u wrote "C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\" and still "logon failed - game version invalid, disconecting".

Basicly when i 1st runed gproxy i used promt to fill the infos, than i had the fail login version thingy, than i wrote the .cfg file in notepad, and its in gproxy folder, wich i have on my desktop.

You can run it for the first time, it will create the GProxy.cfg. Then you need to go into the GProxy.cfg (saved in the same folder you have GProxy.exe) and change war3version = 26. That's the only thing that should matter if you get the incorrect version message. That one line. Unless you don't have the current version of wc3? Try clicking the Battle.net button in wc3 and see if it makes you download any updates.

Those are the only two things I can think of.

(PS If you created something on notepad, make sure it's titled "gproxy.cfg" and that there aren't any other files called gproxy.cfg in the folder where the gproxy.exe is.)

When i ran it 1st time, and filled the prompt, the file didnt apeared. I created it myself, yes its "gproxy.cfg", and yes its in same folder, i copied the text from ur post so there was that 26 ver. thingy there. I play tft thru bnet 8h or more most of the days so no, its not like i have diferent ver.
So yea, generaly its any sort of a simple issue :d
What about the italics, i actualy tried with them and without them so, its also not this.

Not sure what italics you are talking about, but literally the only thing that can be wrong if it says incorrect version is war3version = 26 0.o

Also, where do you have gproxy.exe saved? If the program doesn't have access to write to the folder (IE did you put it in the wc3 folder? Because if you did, it can't write to the folder)

Then I guess if you have a bug that doesn't allow you to use it, but everyone else in the world can, I would post something to Varlock on codelain.com

yea maybe ill do that, just dont shoot me if ill get dc from time to time, i play 10-20-few games like everyday since some time so if i get 1 dc a day its not such a tragedy. I mean the autoban is set that u get it at some ammounts of leaves, but if it happens so rarely, and some1 <like myself> plays a lot of games everyday its not rly that fair comparin to some person that plays 1 game a day.
