Warcraft 3 with 1.27 No CD Error

Hey guys,

battle.net autopatched my wc3 this morning which was expected.
Now after the update was 'succesful' WC3 shows the No-CD Error and I cannot get into the game.
I wonder whether some of you have the same problem or not.
When I 'downgrade' to 1.26a I can start the game completely fine - then clicking on Battle.net for update, again succesful patching and getting into the same error. I am playing on a netbook so I don't have the possibility to insert the cd.
Reinstalling made no difference. I don't get it.

@n1ll3 Damn we are doomed. I figured out that the 0xc000007b error i get is a general windows error and in most cases linked to the gpu drivers. Well i try to solve it but that's what I got so far

@n1ll3 But that wasn't my problem. The pitch is installed succesful. I just can't open wc3 after the installation.
And I already have a installpath string in the registry folder :/
Seems like i need another solution. But good it worked for you!

Got the same issue. The frozen throne CD is required in order for the game to get started... wtf lol?

@BiLyA Do you have the Error: 0xc000007b ?
Cause this probably has nothing to do with WC3 but rather with missing dlls or sth. like that.

I have not updated yet so dont know if it works, but try and running the game as admin (right click option) this will prob not work if there is a real problem with the patch, but can "solve" or move around others.

No guys, the error message simply says CD-ROM ERROR. When i insert the frozen throne cd, the game starts normally. Weird shit.

I tried that and tried different compatibility settings as well. Nothing helped.

I just downloaded the provided file and ran it.
Everything seems fine here.

for some reason nothing poppin out on my ent connect after I patch WC3

@tino I'm not by my PC but can see people joining games thru ENT Connect. Try undo the update and use ENT Connect. Let me know if it works.

I think adding your Warcraft 3 RoC and TFT cd-keys to battle.net account and downloading game from there would solve your problems with CD ERROR.
