ENT Gaming

It would be somewhat interesting to allow teams to form in Civ Wars matches, since it is a highly team-based game. I propose the following additional commands..

On the forum, allow three players to join a Civ Wars team that they can name. Their forum accounts must be linked to their game accounts. Once the team is formed, the players can join the Civ Wars bot and use a command such as !team [team_name] This would sign that player in for the team. if all three players sign in (on the same team) before the game starts, then in addition to recording the stats for individual use, it also records a team win/loss and ELO.

At which point, I would suggest a separate stats tab for Civ Teams.

It was something I always wanted to do, but never had the time for when I was messing with bot scripts.

Sounds like the Arranged Team Games.

Are arranged team games a thing? There is a bot for arranged teams for civ wars already? Please excuse me then. I have just taken a few month hiatus from Civ Wars and came back last night and noticed ENT had w/l on their bot after I was badgering BGN for months about it and even had the code to give them from my own bot. It was just a whim and Ididn't bother looking around, so i am sorry.

No, ENT does not have team games currently. We were thinking about adding team games for certain games but it doesn't seem popular enough.

Yes, I remember that, was one of the reasons to left the bgn. Btw, check this link. It's the rank for cw games.

I saw that link and I am quite happy about it. Now I have my quest to get 100 wins and 0 losses.
As to telling Alter - he is incredibly inactive because of his new job and before then he rarely did anything community related. I've been the one attempting to carry the community of late (well, the past year or so minus the last three months.) We have a forum at civwarsforum.tk but not much gets posted and no newbies go there to learn so old players have less incentive to post strategies since no one will learn them.

So, no teams yet.. But possibly in the future? ^^

I know how the pub can be annoying playing civ, if may I suggest you can use the command !g civ to see how many players is in the lobby, then you can wait to get the next game having no trouble to play with your own team.
