Just sharing an idea. Probably isn't so useful but still interesting.
When you're seeing the gamelist there's no information about how many players left to game start, so when the bot refresh, it could change the gamename with this number represeting the players.
Example:
[ENT] Castle Fight! [3] #48
Some player joined, then name change.
[ENT] Castle Fight! [2] #48
If someone left, then the next refresh will change to
[ENT] Castle Fight! [3] #48

You can't just change the gamename, you have to unhost the previous game and rehost one with a new name. That could get you disconnected from battle.net if you rehost too much.

maybe using a timer can prevent it. :3uakf.b wrote:That could get you disconnected from battle.net if you rehost too much.

Re: Autohost Bot - GameName
It simply requires more packets, and additionally users who copy and paste the gamename from the game list or who increment the number for the next game will get a game not found message possibly. The real problem is that the battle.net gamelist does not show slots, and this can be partially solved by using the !games command or checking the web gamelist.

Yes, I agree with you. I was only thinking about the gamelist from wc3.
