It's pretty sad that people like Feor can't see half an inch beyond their own perspective. I never said my enjoyment trumps anyone elses. I value other peoples opinions if they value mine respectively. When Ricky911 gets power hungry and bans me just because he can, without attempting to understand my perspective, I don't just smile and nod. Regardless of how you feel about stacking, just try to think about it from the other persons view once in a while.

There is one huge problem about the stacking though, that when 3-4 friends want to play together and can't on the same team and people doesn't want to move down/up to make space. Then they try waiting untill someone leaves so thier friend spam-joining can get the slot. If nobody leaves, they leave to join NG while their teammates joins the game and this can go on for a lot of time. Those taking some games very very long time to join. And when someone joins against a stacked team, they check enemy teams elo and leaves when countdown at 1-3, sometimes ending up being 3v4 cauase they left too late. This really WASTES huge ammount of time between every game start and even end up ruining couple games if 3v4 at level 1.

So yes, stacking caues problems. But it does indeed not mean it's wrong to play with your friends. It just means we need to find a solution to not delay the games crazy much if 4-5 teams of friends wants to play together. This happened yesterday, making it take freaking 45 minutes to find one game where I could play with the 2 IRL mates I wanted to play with. Is there any way to figure a solution to solve this? Such as allowing the 1st person who joined to be able to !swap people, or something else? Such as making a group of people able to signup together? Maybe meeting another team of premade aswell, that could make the games even more interresting, if premades met eachother!

This could be interesting, as the HR bot is no longerb eing used, it would be nice to change it into a bot, where teams can sign as premades. There has been some talk about this allready, but I think you should do a suggestion in the suggestion part of the forum, if you want this implemented :o)

Stacking and smurfing are too different things...

I remember they started calling me a stacker even when I had 1300 elo and was playing with my 2 real life best friends both of them with elo between 1100 and 1300. "Hardstacking" I'd say.

Then I was a stacker playing with (o.O)Rise (aka onslaught), even though I met him and we started playing together when he still had barely 10 games on his account. But yeah, once he got good stats I should stop playing with him and unfriend him right ?

Furbolg you can check my ip address in alias section and see all my accounts and judge for yourself. The only smurf accounts were from a bet to make a 100/0 solo, an attempt I gave up since it was boring. As I also mentioned in a post in lihl, I am just inactive since I have better things to do, now that I am back in Greece for the summer, than sitting all day in front of my pc playing ltd.

The HR prefixed bot is a good idea but in general noone will use it even that way, it will attract two kind of people, teams that want fun and relaxed game ( you call stackers ) and teams of smurfers. I don't see why someone who wants a relaxing game for a change would play vs a team of smurfer, to risk his elo for a game that won't be relaxing.

Play vs Stackers
Play vs Smurfers
Play vs Mercs

Learn to beat all of them.

Or you can always dodge and join next game ( for any reason you see fit ).

Ruining their games is NOT an option. Ruining any games is not an option.

Funniest though are stackers who chose the game mode (time im thinking of was hpli) told my team to send hermits since i had a feeling they were trying to avoid lvl1 dinos. Said and done they leaked baaaaaaad. 1 of them rage quit rest of them wanted draw..
Thats just lame if u get beat fess up to it learn from the experiene and get better don´t chase the free rating that´s just weak.

Well put!!!!!!
People complain too much about "stacking". Have you guys actually thought about it? All these "stackers" were noobs at one point too? They LEARNED to play the game and they play with FRIENDS. I guess in the gaming community playing with FRIENDS is "STACKING", unless you have all noob friends.

To get back on the subject, the reason "pros" play on regular LTD games with friends (you guys call stacking) is so they can have a fun, leisure games. What's wrong with that? Playing with each other, we can talk strats, have regular conversations, play carefree.....seriously what's wrong with that? If we want to play competitively we would play in LIHL. If you don't want to play vs a "stacked" team, then just leave and join the next game. Now I understand sometimes you won't know if they are stacked, because smurf accounts, but if someone has 1800+ elo and you see others that are 10/0, 20/1, 25/1, etc.....you know they are smurfing!!! Instead of constantly complaining, play vs these players and learn, or just join the next game.
You can always create a new account if you're not happy with your elo.....like many players do. Also elo doesn't always show how skilled you are.
I personally don't play public because of mercenary and not very challenging. Before lihl I pretty much dodged people that did that because its sad. It would be about 100 times more fun to beat your friends and so on. Totally understand but not against the rules. reason for a-bal and hr. Personally played 95% of my games alone.

The point is just that it is really frustrating as an enemy when you get stacked teams against you so often. It takes no skill at all to win vs a team with 2 noobs with 4 stacked (or smurfed, whatever) players. If you are on the other side and want to play "fair" without stacking you are always the victim - no matter how you justify it, justifications do not matter in this case.

I think 90% of the people agree that stacking is a really bad kind of play, but the 10% that doesn't is the top of the league. Why? Not because they are so much more talented than the others, but because they easily trash the "fair" players because those will always have 1 or more noobs in their team (exceptions excluded). That's the system, so don't expect players who are on top of the league to agree that stacking is bad, because admitting it and acting upon it would jeopardise their precious ELO -

it is only human, the people on top are conservative because they don't want to fall off of their pedestal, the people below want revolution, because they want to climb out of their horrible way of living ;)
You don't stop playing because you grow old; you grow old because you stop playing.

I play, to play with friends....majority of the time. You guys can talk about stacking all you want, and I'm not disagreeing with any of you. Yea, it is an unfair advantage to play vs "better" players, but how else will you get better? By playing noobs? In order to succeed in games and in life you must always challenge yourself. Play vs better players (challenge yourself in life). Fail...then figure out why you failed and next time around try to succeed. You can only get better by playing players who are better. Everyone was a noob one time or another in LTD. Not everyone becomes pro right away.

This is the same shyt you guys are talking about. People are caring about ELO and that's why they complain about playing "stacked" teams. This topic can be in the same topic as Merc Switchers. Same shyt. 4 pros can play vs 4 players (2 merc switchers) and they would have trouble too.....somewhat.
